Waise seeing the highlights for today, I wanna ask one thing. Does Sai/RR does not like wearing clothes, rather shirts? See, this is a genuine question. Jitna usse nanga/half nude dikate hain, utna toh bollywood, Hollywood mein dikta hoga. At least not what I have seen. ITV shayad pehli baar yeh ho raha hai!

Bollywood - objectifies women.

ITV - objectifies men, especially on SP shows. It's all about TRPs. All the women viewers need an outlet or someone to fantasize about, so TV's the only option.

I also feel that with RR's role, the men on the creative team also get to play out their fantasies of being this tough, dashing guy, fitness freak, and great lover. Raghav represents to men on the team what they want to be might not be able to in real life. I am pretty sure about it. Look at the way the camera moved up his arm and then to his face when Raghav stopped Pallavi from leaving.

Only other show where the ML was shirtless so much was Avinesh Rekhi as Uma in TSMSP. At least Raghav is shown bashing tires, doing gym workouts. Uma to aise aise yoga poses karta tha, always in dhoti, rarely wearing a shirt, kya bataon. You should see his intro scene on that show, one of the hottest I've seen till date on ITV at least.

Agree. It also means we're unlikely to get the typical button sewing scene for obvious reasons.

Sai's fans will have a tough time accepting him fully clothed in future roles.

You know when I saw the first ever seen where he smells her hair as it blows towards him (Mansi's engagement), that's when I literally sat up and took notice for the way he performed, that slight flicker of realization on his face as something stirred in him and the way he was accepting of it, yet arrogant enough to brag about his own hair.

I personally want to see her run her fingers through his. I don't think anyone's allowed to touch his hair, are they?

@bold: YESSS. The one thing I love so much about SKR's portrayal of RR is the small and minor expressions.

It [oops if this is an unpopular opinion] reminds me of when SRK (lol just noticed the similar initials) was at his peak for his romantic roles, although now I would say he overacts, but like back in the 90s - when he did the small facial changes/expressions when he was gazing at the woman he loved, uuufffff. THAT is what I love most about Indian actors be it bollywood or ITV. Sai does similar things, whether its the eye smirk, the slight lift of his mouth when he's in bliss, etc etc. so good and my FAVORITE part of his scenes. Esp opposite Pallavi. I'll never be over his smirk when he was teasing her at the start of Vat Savitri. NEVER gonna get over it. NEVER.
