I missed news of my friend's engagement because of that

I came to know about her engagement from my sister the night before. And when I texted her to confirm news she was like 'I am trying to call you many times but the call wasn't getting connected'.

How am I supposed to tell her my phone is on flight mode 24×7.

I am sure my friends have forgot my existence. Every 2 months I receive message from people confirming my existence.

So to avoid that. Once in a while I put some random story in IG 😎
