Sorry to jump into the discussion but actually the acceptance happened after almost 250 episodes. If you closely observe the episodes, you'll realize it happened in preleap itself. There were plenty of ' pyar, dil and dhadkan etc.' references to explain their relation in front of Ani. And he never denied any of such comments after mano track, unlike the initial episodes

Yess Ani loved her but the problem is with the realisation and confession.. What will the makers bring next?? That's why it felt abrupt..

Bhavya is online but I don’t think he will answer me gut feeling 😫😖😞

Though I know that but for me, it will be difficult to think that Anirudh fell in romantic love with Bondita, preleap, when she was a child. Pure bond and everything still in place, the love he had for her was never like the one between a man and a woman for me.

Okay, So I have discussed this with Piyu already regarding Anirudh's realization and I wanna share it here too:

I'm not sure if many of you here have seen the show called Gulaal on Star Plus in the 2000s but it had a similar track playing out in the story - The FL marries the ML's younger brother after the ML death and the Devaar is 10 years old when this happens. This is due to the tradition of their place. Anyway, she had practically raised the Devaar throughout his childhood and taken care of him.

Later on, the Deevar grows up and returns home but this brings forth a lot of complexities in their relationship. The FL take a long time to reach an acceptance regarding her feelings towards the new ML and accept his love. The entire transition was beautifully handled in that show.

I kinda expected something similar here on the show where they show Anirudh coming to terms with the fact that he had began to see her as a woman and then slowly accepting his love for her. I wanted more insight into his mindset and the transition from viewing her as choti bondita to badi bondita.
VJ track was necessary but I feel he needed to spend time with Bondita properly, most of their interaction has been 80% VJ and 20% Bondita.

Kinda makes it difficult to accept his realization that he loves her like a man loves a woman now.

I don't know about gulal though heard, never watched.

But what you said even I too wanted that, he would have tried to pacify her, some conversations, meeting in the court and after that this realisation. He would have known how his Bondita has become before loving her...

Agree Radhika😭 I really wanted them to spend some more time as Rudhita before Ani realizes his love. He has been running away from all these from so many years that his sudden realisation seems to come out of blue😒 I kinda feel post leap they aren't focussing on important issues and rushing through everything. So many opportunities missed of showing Ani's care for Bondita, them spending time together.

Even Bondita's outburst was badly executed. It felt like it came out of nowhere

I had seen Gulal in bits and pieces😆 though I know the overall story but haven't seen all episodes. Actually wanted to watch it but hotstar par nahi milta yeh series
