I don't know if it is a cult classic or not but it is one of my most favourite films along with Lootera 👍🏼.

Mohenjo daro was utter crap. So much money and potential wasted.

They could have actually used the concept from the book Harappa by Vineet Bajpai on reincarnation and thriller and the movie would have actually done well because very less is known about the civilization.

It could have been like Magadheera for Bollywood.

my nephew and niece were watching this movie few days back. uncle look look now the crocodile will attack krish. Ok so the kids recognise hrithik as krish :)

now to the original question Mohanjodaro was and is a terrible movie.

Mohenjo Daro is Krish's pichhla janam.

I do not understand criticism for Mohenjo Daro or Kalank. Both were decent films, there have been much worse big budget films and they have not received even half the flak Mohen jo Daro received.

A lot was said about crocodile jumping straight up in water, crocodiles are known to do that thanks to their strong tails.

A lot of non-sense was put out the by so-called historians about the headgear and costume of the film. Information about the same is available online and the costume designer got it right.

The acting part was good. The special effects except that dam scene in the climax were top drawer. Music was not upto Rehman's usual mark but was good . Mohen jo Daro was decent film, especially the climax. IMO, it does not really deserve the flak it gets,.

Completely agree. It was not the best film..but it was not that bad. Most of the hindi movies, I can't even watch for first 10 min.. In comparison it was good movie.

Yes. It’s a cult classic just like Drona and Love Story 2050. You got that right
