Anu despite being wealthy and elitist, has a narrow minded view of people and the world at large, thinks that the world owes her, abuses those not of her class and makes everyone around her miserable. Raising M to be emotionally weak, deceptive and a pendulum. Drowning everyone in toxicity.

Mithi despite being poor has a broad understanding of the world and its rules, has a strong sense of ethics, morals and is not cowed down despite her brave decision to bear a child out of wedlock, raising her to be strong, fierce and independent. Rising above the toxicity.

So true. But even then Mitthi has to prove herself over and over again for her one mistake. She has to keep paying for that mistake even today, and indirectly her daughter also is paying for her mother's mistake. Be it from being forcefully married to Adi to hearing that she is illegitimate from teh T family, she is still paying for her mother's mistake and her biological father's choices. Yet Imlie is neither resentful, nor does she blame anyone. She just goes about living her life the way she knows - without blaming anyone or needing anyone to prop her up.

On the other hand, despite committing multiple crimes aross many years, AC even today goes scot free everytime due to her privilege and power. Despite that the T family at one time were sent to jail because of Anu, they still want to stick with her due to that rutba and shaan the C family has in society. Her daughter is walking on the same path by making horrible choices to justify her nit getting her favourite toy in the end - despite knowing that the toy she wants can never be hers. It is almost like she is using her obsession to will Adi into loving Malini again. This is how AC has been and how Malini will continue to be. A leech who wants to hold in to someone to feed off their positivity, only to back to the next host to manage her coat.

I have finally caught up with the episodes and the thread and what a lovely find filled energetic thread this has been with such a blah episode.

So here is my little rant if I may.

The witches caldron bubbled away as the slithering could be heard in the wind. The chuckles were far from yet the sight of sniggering could not be forsaken for the doom that lay forth is faith. The wizard watch as the angel stood next and tried to solve the riddle. Yet he fell pray once more to the act of deceit as words were hallow and actions become the root of defeat.

How the witch hallows within at the moment of temporary victory. Deeming to believe that she has the wizards hand and heart in sight. How naive she was for had she looked in his eyes would she have found that his soul held only one truth and that lay within the eyes of his angel.

His every resolve spoke of his truth and his every action deemed him to move further away then she had believed he could. He had flees from her caldron and no potion or spell fluke cast his sight to her as he had even forsaken his own to walk his path. The pebbles wobbled with him yet they encouraged him on to hold on tighter. If only she had seen that the wizard seeks what lay within and not what she believed had mattered. The battle of seven years of woven spell fell faul to the binding of faith built upon roads of equality. He had learnt what he needed was not a layer of friendship but a soulfulness of honesty which he had carved for all his eternity. These seven months had locked his soul to love and communicate the way his heart wished to live and today he knew no matter the battles he would fight till the ends of doom were more insight. The rain was yet to lay there rainbow but he knew his angel would understand for courage she had never left but he hoped her faith in them would not falter if only he knew the witches potion was yet to strick again but this time. It was lay a scare that may not be easy to walk through for the angel was scared to admit what she had felt to her wizard to start. This night had layer the three souls in opposite directions and desires that would ultimately make one lose faith and another of sight that really mattered.

I loved that the action of Aditya showed that his need for imlie has been because he has seen the three things that always mattered to him.

1. The sorrow behind your smile

2. The love behind your anger

3. The reason behind your silence

These three things stood out today for me in the episode the most. He knew she was in pain and yet he knew his anger had to weight for she would never admit what she felt at the cost of her own. He knows he has to hold her heart close and with it her spirit.

The little moment was sweet when she mentioned one choices do not change she is proud to love him for whom he is to her and she is proud to be the girl form Pagdandia for her image has not mattered for clothes do not define her her relationship. If only Maline could see this she would realise that her and Aditya lacked communication and this is the acceptance that’s has her in denial for they have both accepted whom they are and have grown there love form it.

He knew her unsaid words that her heart was broken by Dd. He loved and hence controlled his anger when confronting M about dressing up Imlie in that dress and doing her makeup. He was also holding Imlie close during his confrontation with M. I think he was watching M closely when she was giving her token replies and lying to his questions.

Imlie reiterating that her tastes are not going to change... and prefers desi clothes and her shehri langur was cute. M never realized it was not about appearances or clothes...

You said it so well imlie taste will not change but she will grow as a person. She is not shy to try new things and appreciate them for what they are. But at heart she is the simple girl with simple wishes. One whom seeks love and acceptance for whom she his and what she stands for. Her morals have always been based upon the faith she holds within her self and her relationships. Which is what lead Aditya to her like a moth to a flame. When he tried to push alway she stayed away only for him to pull in closer and seek her out. His heart couldn’t stop from pulling in her spell and simple couldn’t fantom how she could walk with her faith alone as her strength. Each step she took there after was her trust in het truth and the faith she had to walk away and live the way she deemed her life to be may that be with or without him she took her choice and accepted it.

This is the difference we are seeing when both Aditya and imlie have adopted to there relationships and reality they have grown with there flaws and failures and have decided to keep communication open and honest. This has allowed for the thoughts to stay at bay but Maline so far from the start of the truth reveal has hidden behind the divorce or the reality that her marriage with Aditya was never one of love but mutual understanding. It felt and has been shown that Aditya ticked the boxes that his family wanted for him whereas imlie has allowed him to make his choices and accept them with our without her.

The love has blossomed and was shown in the dance as the arms raised and he had eyes only for her throughout. The gentle tilting showed us that she has let her faith be his to hold and with it she had opened herself up to him. The gentle rise as the return back into each other’s arms was the security they felt within and showed us that no matter the storm they shall be back to another. If they will so and they do as shown when they walked in to Maline room together to talk.

The nodding of the head reference I refer to is when Maline is having her little melt down and Aditya is apologising for the 💯 time that second it was when imlie was about to talk and he stops her, it’s not that he didn’t want her to have her way it’s was he way to protect her of the hurt that may be directed.

It was such a simple and subtle message for viewers to see and understand if they wanted that sometimes when you love someone more then yourself and they are the once causing you the hurt it’s better to stay quite because it shows you that your love never mattered so how do you think your worlds will. In this moment Aditya knew that no matter what imlie said Maline wouldn’t listen and this was proven when she went back and asked her will ne trust ever be broken. The silence and the thorn image was a sign enough for imlie to see that the cracks have already been taken.

This was nice closure to the the loop I felt when she was taking to CK and telling him that people open hate of words do not burn her souls the emotions hidden scares her and leave her feeling uncertain. For such a young soul her fear is so on point. If only others would be willing to see what she has said makes so much sense. Unfortunately she has given this trusts to a woman whom doesn’t deserve it and with it the power to destroy what she has built not realising that Aditya will not let her.

It was like that time when they took there vows again during the table shaadi when he in no bold worlds told her and his family that he not she can forget the love they hold and he will not allow himself or her to do so. Loved the witches and angel reference - beautifully written. But more than anything I loved how you said what he has always seen in Imlie - that she is like the rain - always cleaning away the gunk with her claiming and deep spirit. She takes everything within herself and makes sure that her loved ones will never see her turmoil - which is why even BS worries that she will get hurt due to other's actions and always wants to protect her from the world.

Loved how you said that outside appearances and change in place do not affect her choices. She has always been a girl connected to mitti and continues to be like that. Her choices have been driven by that only, which is why she choses to dress the way she does and chooses to be with Adi who is as connected to his roots as she is. Which is why they connect on a soul level - because they both have the same calling for their roots, which Malini will never have. Malini's roots are extremely superficial, which is why she never understands Adilie's soul connect. She mistakes this connect to be surface level attraction - she will never understand that this connect was joined by the divine, so matter what the witch does, she will never be able to even touch this connect - if she does, she herself will get destroyed in the process.

Oh your words were like a balm to my soul as I felt the exact same thing. Like you said, how Imlie realised something was wrong when Malini wore the saree, to her being uncomfortable with the dress, to her confronting Malini but not getting a straight answer to finally seeing how Malini was behaving with Adi during the dance - all this culminated with her words to CK about being afraid of people who do not express what is in their hearts.

That got reinforced even later when despite Adi managing Malini's outburst and telling Imlie to not worry anymore, she took it on herself to confront Malini with her fears on her own. See thsi girl has always wanted to have an open communication with each of her relationships, that is why she innocently asked Malini also that her trust will mit be broken by the one she idolized. But seeing the picture and comparing it to how Malini lied to her on her face somewhere removed that rose colored chashma that Imlie was wearing and made her see things clearly. That is why she first time just went ahead and schooled her face when she said good night - in a way creating that distance that will prepare her to face the worst of what she will get from Malini in the future. Somewhere in that moment our girl grew up and got wiser - she now will be wary of whatever Malini does and will be prepared for all the betrayal she know she is going to get from the person she once had put on a pedestal.
