Like Simran said, this track failed because it was too focused on how all this impacts Raghav, when it should have put atleast 65-70% focus on Pallavi- the trauma of being widowed on the night of her wedding, seeing her new family fight for her rights even as they were mourning, the financial struggles of the family's sole breadwinner gone, Vijay's heart attack, Sharda's illness, her finding the strength to rise above and be the pillar the family needed, refusing to go back to Siddhesh and Pawani despite them asking, all while she watches her bridal mehndi fade from her palms, already a widow, thinking back on the dreams and promises she and Mandaar made over video calls that lasted hours and hours...and then the shock of seeing this same late husband miraculously come back alive right as she finally found closure on his death and moved on, the relief of being able to deliver this miracle to the people she looks at like her own parents, the grief of seeing him reduced to a mere shell of the man he was, the desire to help him once again be his original self
And Raghav, understanding all this, and wanting to be as supportive as he can be, but falling prey to his own demons, and him and Pallavi supporting each other, growing as a couple while doing this task that emotionally drains them both, strains their relationship, but they both know is the right thing and needs to be done. Them growing together as a couple as this both breaks them and builds them.
All while Mandaar's true colors unfold gradually in the background- a hint here, a clue there- until, bam, one big incident, exactly like Ayi's accident, that gives him away, and then RaghVi vs Mandaar.
