And then the other major contrast is in Adi's reactions ofcourse.....seeing Malini in gaaon wala makeup made him so upset that he insisted she change it right away and he was ready to get her taken to a parlor to get it changed😆......but seeing Imlie in this loud makeup which she herself didn't look comfortable in, Adi's only reaction was one of total support and tenderness.....that no matter what the change, what the appearance, he will support her, stand by her.....Malini thought she can sabotage Imlie by ruining her appearance....but Adi's love proved to be above all that yet again.

Malini blames Imlie for supposedly taking advantage of her trust....but the truth is that Imlie was always being scapegoated in every situation by someone or the other....Back then, it was circumstantial.....but today she is being actively sabotaged by ghatiya Malini and still being scapegoated.....that is why it's more unbearable.

Intresting that we are contrasting it to that day caz that brings us back to sari vs shawl.. both gifts/chose by adi then the shawl mad either way to imlie by malini herself handing it out to her in her mahaanta drama and imlie returning it outside getting sick reaching hospital she was in need of it yet she didn't caz she found out ke it is a gift from adi and yahan yeh saamne se dekh ke stole it and is flaunting it..and lying to all ke she didn't knew..ughh didi and her chota dil . Kis muh se log isse badi behan kehte hain...about time iska bhanha phoote and people stop regarding her as that

@bold1 - although I have zero expectations with Adi actively realizing anything regarding Imlie or Malini, I hope what you're saying will happen....and when I say actively, I mean in a way where the audience is made aware that Adi's actions/reactions are driven by his realization of Imlie slipping away from him...let's see if they address anything that way.

Aww man, now you made me go back and revisit that scene and indeed the contrast is so STARK. Imlie apni jaan gawaa degi par kisi aur ki cheez pe haq nahin jataayegi......she was unwilling to even BORROW that shawl for warmth cuz it was a gift to Malini from Adi.

Such a lovely line she had in this scene about "Paraaye chulhe se kabhi aag nahin lete".......aur tragedy tab se lekar aaj tak yehi hai ki haq hote huye bhi Imlie ne kabhi haq nahin liya apna.....aur yahaan Didi ke koi haq nahin toh woh CHHEEN kar CHORI karke le rahi hai zabardasti from Imlie.
