With a father like Sanki, did we ever really expect Mandar to be a good guy!?!? Apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. I never truly thought it was fake Mandar.
I had an inkling he was real bc 1) i don't think MHRW wanted to dabble in dopplegangers and 2) Aayi had hinted how internally messed up Mandar was because of his bad relationship with VD was and how bad of a father VD was. Nikhil was the good son, Mandar was not - just acted like it to cover up the psycho he always prob was.
Aayi doesn't deserve these two at allll. Only Nikhil and Pallavi & Raghav are her kids now. Can you imagine what Aayi was thinking as she was looking up at her son when she was lying on the road? ๐ญ๐
With the general ITV Trope of the 1st Marriage being the ultimate one for 7 janams, I didn't think they'll bring back the OG Mandaar... but I really wanted the Original one cos that would have made for a far superior plot.
So CVs score ๐ฏ for me for doing that.
I wanted a good plot of showcasing how a Toxic Parent can turn a child into whatever you don't generally expect. At this point I'm just happy that Pallavi was never really had to stay even a day with this Guy.
God was watching & prevented her from being in the same situation as Aai !
Ashok's Acting as Mandaar was superb today๐
Since VD never let him do things his own way, I guess Pallavi was the only person he liked & probably was happy about a life with someone that he chose finally on his own.
But now I'm tensed that this change in the track doesn't mean Devyani & Raghav's disbelief on girls wala part goes down the drain๐
I still want them to give us all the angles
That moment of Aai lying down hurt me pretty bad subah subah
