I think it's when fans go from just not being able to understand Pallavi to just "omg R divorce her" "R ignore her" "R deserves better" (THE MOST LAUGHABLE ONE YET), "P is the worst" (tbh now I'm just making stuff up that I imagine people would say 🤣) is when you can tell a bit more the ages & maturity levels & their bias.

I'm most definitely NOT a teen & have relationship experience, but I've criticized Pallavi a lot during this whole track. I find that the more mature fans are just criticizing her because they have a different perspective, expectation, and idea of marriage and love. One person's experience isn't the same as the other. Different strokes for different folks.

IMO the immature ones are the ones who are just more fickle & just move straight to divorce.

It's the writing issue and the fact that they always show just one side of the coin. This time it was only Raghav's point of view. They'll have to understand the balance bere because not every audience looks for a deeper meaning in everything.

For me, even when I think from Pallavi's POV - she's an orphan, D fam took her in, she experienced a real family, etc., the issue I kept coming back to was always about, why go to these extreme lengths to help. Its not about why did she help, why does she feel sympathy for Mandar. I used to think those things but coming here to AT to read more about her perspective helped me get over that. Now I'm just (was) stuck on, "ok, but why this much." She didn't leave Raghav after Baba and even Aayi asked and wanted her to, and she wasn't even in love with Raghav at the time, so what's the motivation now? I get she feels indebted to D fam, but as a 21st century woman, I wish they would show her with more of a backbone towards her family. I know all about being a doormat for your own family - the women in my family are prime examples of this which could be why I'm personally so triggered (LOL - I acknowledge it), but having gratitude for your family does not equal to being a doormat for them. I wish they'd emphasize this more in the show regularly, not just when Pallavi has reached her limits.

Agree the extent to which she goes to can be off putting.. Before marriage, I feel from writing POV, it was to establish her character.. This is how she is.. her family is everything for her and the reasons we know (the ones mentioned in the beginning of your post..basically obligation/gratitude) ..Glad they did lol coz otherwise it would've been even more difficult to see her go to this extent now.. Convenient writing? Obviously.. but if we try to see the logic behind why she didn't leave Raghav even after Baba and Ayi warned her, was because she needed him to save DSE.. She had been fudging accounts till then..With Raghav, she saw an opportunity to revive DSE so even after family resistance she continued to meet him..

I don't think she is a doormat.. she can be naive and yes she if too emotional for her own good and loses perspective when she tries to keep everyone happy.. but I think post marriage I saw a lot of character growth in her.. independent, strong headed and street -smart (this I think she always was).. especially after she denounced Vijay Deshmukh, exposed Sunny..played a pivotal role in bringing the Raos together..This Mandhar track however, has been so shoddily written.. this was supposed to be ''the track'' but turning him into a psycho, obsessive guy from day1..just a complete mess..
