LOL, 😂 I get fed with such shows due the reptitiveness of this concept. Isn't Meet (another new show on zee) coming up with this concept?😆I just felt it would be similar to another show on sab tv which released a good promo but i lost interest w/in the first episode ( i can't remember which one but had the haryanvi touch to it)
I kind of find topics related to Gender Inequality intriguing😆, probably one of the reasons why I stayed by SAAKK inspite of unrequited romance in that show. But mostly these inequalities are too versed with culture and hence biases become unconscious ones.
Most of my experiences of "Being woman" arise from politics in workplace - difference in pay, hikes, designation and so on. Unfortunately iTv is still into saas-bahu's kitchen politics whereas in real world women have moved on to deal with serious Office politics.🤪Toh uss par banaye koi show.
I really thought iTV was ready to portray woman in better light when they showed some good content on it -
- Sandhya not wearing sindoor/mangalsutra with uniform.
- Akshara joining office and working
- Santosh (in old zee tv show- Amanat) working in office
- Muskaan (in old zee tv show - Mehendi Tere Naam Kii) opening her own boutique
Till today's iTv women wholly and solely focusing on winning a man, safeguarding a man and fighting for a man!🤣 Tell me, is world moving forward or backward?
Meet is copy of some other Bengali show where Meet is married to a guy because sister escaped from marriage for some work, yet couple falls in love and he "encourages" her through becoming police officer - Sounds like in-line of DABH; but I guess Meet has some motive of being police, to find her father's culprit/murderer or something.
