South Indian marriages mein all the cousins should wear on compulsion (in my place); just during the ceremony. They stuff so much of flowers to irritate me, I roam around with headache. Ceremony khatam hote hi I throw that thing away, so I don't know what exactly happens later. It becomes brownish and more irritating.

I haven't been to many North Indian marriages but I do know that there is no compulsion to wear gajras. I think only the bride wears it IF she wants to but nowadays not many brides choose to (that I know of) because it's too much to manage with all the fancy hairstyles and all
