There is no perfect rule book out there to become Sanyas/Sanyasini. Basic rules are given in the upanishads but as you know, our society has twisted and turned everything according to their belief system so it depends on which group Bondita is bring sent off to, they will have their own rituals for integrating her into this lifestyle.

Realistically, there is nothing that asks the sanyas/sanyasini to endure physical torture in any form, the fact they renounce everything and spend life just remembering god is supposed to strenghten their resolve and belief. That's enough is what I know.

The only apparent 'rule' into the act of Sanyasi is the renunciation of wordly pleasures but there's no pain ritual at all...there is only an initiation process into it, but like you said, society has twisted it, so different groups do different crazy things. In that sense, anything is possible, depending on the group she is going with.

Someone tell these guys that Bondita is always in constant remembrance of her God 😆 She doesn't need to become a Sanyasi. She's already given everything for him. ❤️
