Siku ki storytelling is excellent when he's in the 'establishing the story' phase, and then nosedives when he jumps into what he thinks is the actual story. And wahaan ja ke gadbad ho jaati hai.

Here, I'd say Vat Savitri tak he was establishing the foundation of the story, and that delivered the most solid episodes of this show's run. Then the crux of the tale- according to him- Mandaar, started, first his death mystery then he himself, and tab se it's been downhill for me, to the point of knowing ki if I ever rewatch this show down the line, I'm going to stop at them moving into the same room.

I've always wanted from week one that Mandaar stays dead, TBH. The 'crux' of the story could have very well been that of a widowed woman falling in love and moving on- as advertised! It's got more than enough emotional depth to be 'tadka', humesha high voltage drama isn't needed to create solid angst. Instead, they never even focused on Pallavi's experience as a widow, her attachment to Ayi and 'Baba', and the 'moving on' aspect of it all (because Mandaar was going to return, they had to make it the case that she never loved him- else, they could have showed her missing him in moments of weakness had they planned to keep him dead). So now the fact that she was widowed feels completely insignificant.

After moving back to Kohlapur, instead of the absurd plots they're serving, they could have used Vat Savitri as a trigger point for Pallavi's struggles in accepting her identity as a married woman effectively for the first time in her life, giving some insight to everything she dreamed of pre-wedding and suppressed after Mandaar died, and then jumped into Mandaar's death mystery with Ved, where Pallavi's conflict of moving on and falling in love and accepting it while still struggling to get closure on her first husband's death could be the progress, interlaced with Ved being a truly takkar ka villain pitted against Raghav through the track.

They needs to show its a plan by Raghvi to trap Mandar. After Raghav's nightmare he told Pallavi everything about Mandy and she herself told him about her doubts. Later Amu informed them about Kirti and Mandy meeting. So they both were doing this on purpose to make sure everyone will buy their indifference as genuine.

After ayi's accident they should disclose this to viewers 😆
