Nope because she's not a certified nurse, therapist, psychologist, etc. This is not her field of expertise. She can help, sure. But she doesn't need to leave her home, her husband, her own life, to do so.

I always wonder, if she had kids would she do the same thing (good Mandar or not)?

What makes the situation worse is that he's her ex and insecurities or not, that's always going to be a sore spot for her current husband.
