I don't know if they r trying to cash on both fandoms or that was their actual story...

Came across old IV clip of Tejo, Fateh and jasso.. where Fateh said aage dekho dono mere liye kya kya karti h (something like that)

And jasso said hum dono ke husband to aap hi ho

So may be this was their actual story nd not based on fan wars ...
