So it rubs me the wrong way when KD shares all the sketches and asks fans to frame it and send it. And today he was like black frames please or something like that.

Because these are young kids, we don't know their financial status, and you're asking them to frame first and then mail it. It could be hard earned money and the package with frame could be heavy. And on top of that, he asked for black frames only. Erm. He probably earns more than enough to buy himself a frame of his choice and frame the sketches. No need to ask kids to send it framed. They are probably jumping in joy at celeb wanting their gift and are probably spending hard earned (and probably limited) amount of money they have. Especially in these COVID times when many families are struggling financially.

Sorry if it hurt anyone. I do love him, but certain things just rub the wrong way.

I agree - it really does seem so weird that he would ask fans to do such things and with specifications as well. I think in one of their lives, KDice talked to a fan who had sent KD a frame with his sketch and the fan told him that she's working on another one for shivi and he said, good please send it to me when you're done. Alice gave him a reprimanding look for such a demand too. I also feel that it's taking advantage of his fans :( doesn't sit well at all.

Ok I didn't know about that.. but I think having problem with fans from Kerela must be as a joke because no one in his right mind would generalize it for the sake of just one person not sending them gifts. But if they said so, not as a joke then I don't appreciate it.

That's very helpful, thank you! Over the past 5 or so years we exclusively fly Qatar because of one stop from ATL-DOH-AMD. Otherwise, it's Delta/Lufthansa.

With Qatar, unfortunately right now, all the return flights are 45+ hours for the dates we're checking :( so are Les hopeful. And with Delta/Lufthansa, we have to go through Bombay which we don't want to do.
