Hello Everyone!!
I hope you know what this OS is going to be about!!
Enjoy!!!
Shivi OS: Jiju kitne handsome hain!!
Raavi scrubbed the utensils as her mind was clogged up by only one Man's thoughts.
The one who has been avoiding her as if she had some plague, as if the moment he touched her, she will perform some black magic on him and will make him go mad about her.
'If only!!!'
Rishita who had been observing Raavi's antics for the past 5 mins while standing beside her and munching an apple, jerked her hand when she was about to lose grip over the heavy utensil.
Raavi, alerted, realized what she was about to do and quickly placed the heavy utensil back in the sink and looked at Rishita with a raised eyebrow.
"Oye herione, kahaan khoyi hui thi? Abhi agar main nahi hoti na to tumhara pair gaya hota kaam se."
Raavi gazed at her foot which was directly below the damn utensil was a few seconds back and smiled sheepishly.
"Daant mat dikha, bata kahaan khoyi hui thi? "
Raavi knew she was not going to be left out of the hook, so she quickly made up an excuse. " Are kuch nahi, meri friend ka birthday aa raha hai na, to soch rahi thi usko kya gift dun"
Rishita narrowed her eyes in suspicion but didn't say anything. They were slowly starting to develop their relation like friends and not like typical Devrani-Jethani. And frankly, somewhere in her heart, she was happy that she had gotten a companion in Raavi, which she greatly missed, now that her friends were not in the same city.
Just then Rishita's phone rang and she gritted her teeth." Yeh Shivani bhi na, Isko aur koi kaam dhanda nahi hai kya, jab dekho Dev se video call karne ke bahane use taadti rehti hai, aaj to main isse chodungi nahi." She whisper yelled so that no one could hear as she quickly made a dash to her room.
But she didn't know that Raavi had ears that of an elephant. She had heard every single word and now a plan was formulating in her mind.
'Thank you Rishita, Kya idea diya hai. Ab woh Chattan Pandya kaise mujhse durr bhagta hai main bhi dekhti hun.'
(Loads of hugs to the person who invented this name for Shivađ)
----
Shiva closed the door to the bathroom after a quick shower. Gaumbi had gone out of town and Dev had to attend his friend's wedding, so basically, it was just him and Krish that were going to manage the store.
As soon as he entered his room he was greeted with an unusal sight. Raavi was trying to fill her parting with sindoor but her hands were full with heena.
Heena? Was she going to anyone's wedding? He wondered as he quickly pulled out a red checked shirt from the closet and proceeded to move out from the room but was stopped when Raavi called out to him.
"Shiva?? Ek minute meri help karega? Mere haathon mein mehendi lagi hai, Zara meri maang mein sindoor bhar dega? Please?"
What an irony! Earlier he had forcefully helped her by filling her parting with sindoor, but now she was herself was asking him to fill the parting, when he didn't wanted to be close to her.
"Dhara Bhabhi se bol na, mein kya tera naukar hun?", he grumbled.
Raavi chuckled as she turned to face him, "Naukar to nahi hai, Pati hai tu mera, isilye tujhe bol rahi hun, aur Ek patni ki maang ya to woh khud bhar sakti hai, yaa fir uska pati. Koi teesra insaan yeh kaam nahi kar sakta. Mein khud nahi bhar sakti isilye tujhe bol rahi hun, Please help kar na, 2 min to lagenge tujhe meri maang bharne mein." She tried to convince him to give in.
'Inn 2 min mein meri saari mehnat bekar ho jayegi', he muttered as he gritted his teeth. He hurriedly made his way to where she was standing in front of the mirror facing him.
She quickly turned so she was facing the mirror. "Acche se lagana, mein tujhe bataungi ki kaise lagana hai nahi to tu gadbad kar dega." She smiled scretively as she knew her words will trigger Shiva to do the exact opposite.
So he quickly grabbed the sindoor box and pinched some sindoor and lifted his hand in front of her parting. He appeared as if he was going to follow her words, her direction, but she knew better. He will do what he likes or thinks he should do.
"Accha, okay, ab dheere se meri mang ke starting pe apni ungliyan rakh aur dheere se meri maang bhar de," she instructed as her eyes zeroed on his fingers.
Shiva gritted his teeth at her words, and before she could complain, he quickly filled her parting, resultin in some sindoor falling on her nose.
"Yeh kya kiya? Naak pe gira diya? Ab mein ise pochungi kaise?", She faked her irritation, but inside her heart was squealing in joy.
"Pehle hi bola tha, Naukar nahi hun tera. Aur haan, yeh dheere dheere karne wale kaam tere hain mere nahi."
"Huh, Dheere ka kaam? Tune woh kahaawat nahi suni bachpan mein? 'Slow and steady wins the race?'"
Shiva looked bothered as he gazed in her mesmerising eyes and glared at her as he quickly walked out of the room.
Raavi stared her reflection with the sindoor on her nose. 'Are tune suna hai kya, Jis ladki ki maang mein sindoor bharte hue agar sindoor naak pe gir jaye to uska hone wala pati usse bahut pyaar karta hai', she remebered the exact words someone had muttered while Shiva was filling her parting with sindoor at the time of thier marriage.
"Abhi ka to pata nahi, Lekin future mein zaroor mera pati mujhse bahut pyaar karega. Bhagwaan galat sign thodi na dete hain. Haina Bhagwaan ji?", she talked to herself looking up.
Fortunately, Shiva who had forgotten his wallet had come back to retrieve it, but had stopped in his tracks as he heard her words.
Sign?
He hurriedly walked in, took his wallet and left the room as quickly as he could.
Raavi just smiled victoriously as she knew Shiva had heard her.
----
Shiva quickly had his breakfast and was about to leave the house when Raavi stopped him, yet again.
"Shiva, mujhe meri friend ke yaahan chod dega? Uske yahaan haldi hai aur mujhe wahaan jaldi se jaldi pahunchna hai. Please?"
Thankfully she had managed to wipe the sindoor from her nose, but her nose still looked a bit red.
Before he could refuse, Dhara walked upto them and interupted," Haan Shiva chod dega na, isme puchne ki kya baat hai Raavi. Raste mein hi hai na ghar? Chod dega Shiva."
Dhara smiled suggestively, trying to convey the message loud and clear. 'Go with her or else.' And Shiva knew Dhara never projected empty threats.
So he just glared at Raavi and walked out of the house, with an eager Raavi following him, sending a victorious smile to Dhara.
Dhara chuckled at their antics. "Pagal hai dono", as she made her way to the kitchen.
---
Raavi slowly sat behind Shiva so as to not spoil her mehendi. Shiva tried to stop his tongue from working, but failed to do so. "Maharani ji? Beith gayi aap? Yaa fir utar ke aap ko ache se bithaun?"
She smiled shyly and just sighed. "Haan haan beith gayi hun, Ab chalo", oh how she wished he elaborated more on how was he going to make her sit when he was the one running away from her?
In no time they reached her friend's place. Her friend, Tanya was getting married in an arrange marriage and was Raavi's one of the best friends.
She was waiting at the entrance for Raavi to arrive, and rushed to her once she reached and hugged her tightly.
Raavi hugged her back, equally happy to see her.
"Raavi yaar kahaan reh gayi thi, kitni der laga di tune aane mein?"
"Yaar sorry Tanya, thoda mehendi lagwane mein time lag gaya, kal nahi aa payi thi na ghar mein bahut kaam tha toh, isilye socha subha subha lagwa lun aur fir yahaan aaun, taaki Haldi ka function start hone tak meri mehendi bhi sukh jaaye."
"Chal theek hai. Koi baat nahi..Aur.." she stopped whatever she was about to say when she saw Shiva looking at there exchange with a bored look.
"Yeh kaun hain Raavi? Jiju?" Tanya enquired as she admired Shiva's handsome looks.
Tanya for some reason had not attended Raavi's wedding so she didn't know who Raavi was married to, and it was just about 3 weeks that she was back in Somnath from a long vacation in her hometown.
Raavi nodded shyly.
"Haaye Jiju kitne handsome hain!! Raavi tu to bade kismat wali hai yaar!! Itna handsome banda tera pati hai!!!" She continued to appreciate Shiva in her own unique way.
Raavi glanced at Shiva, who was leaning away on his bike, but he could see a faint blush had appeared to his cheeks as he fiddled with his fingers nervously.
She thanked god for gracing her with this opportunity. She knew Tanya didn't mind people's profession but good looks. And also she had a god gift of knowing people's worth by only glancing at them.
And her words were proving fruitful ,for she was appreciating Shiva for being Raavi's husband, for Raavi being lucky to have Shiva as her husband. Unlike her other friend (sorry don't remember the worthless friend's name) who just cursed Shiva for being a misfit for Raavi.
Her plan had been successfull: proving Shiva that he was perfect for her, through a third person's POV.
Tanya stopped her blabbering as she moved to stand beside him. "Jiju, aap meri shaadi mein zaroor aana han? Mere would be husband ko aapse hi fashion tips dilwaungi. Bhagwan kasam bahut hi dheele dheele kapde pehenta hai, Aapse thoda dressing sense ka gyaan to dilwa hi sakti hun na?"
Shiva just nodded, overwhelmed by the attention he was getting. More importanly, being appreciated for who he was, and was actually being requested to give some tips to someone else.
"Bolo na Jiju? Aap help karoge na meri? Mere would be husband handsome hain, par thode shy hain unki body ko leke. Mein chahti hun ki woh apni personality ko accept kare, jaise aapne kiya hua hai, Raavi to aapke dressing style ki tareef karte nahi thakti hai phone pe. Mujhe pata hai sirf aap hi meri help kar sakte ho. Bolo karoge na?"
She casted the puppy eye look and Raavi chuckled at her friend and then at Shiva's shocked reaction. He just managed to nod and quickly started his bike and left hurriedly.
"Haaye, meri to saari tension hi mitt gayi. Yaar Raavi Jiju ne to last moment mein meri dubti naiya ko bacha liya. Mere cousins kaise mazaak uda rahe the Veer ka. Mein unn sabko dikhana chahti hun ki Veer agar apne pe aaye na, toh kuch bhi kar sakte hain, Mein to unko..." Tanya continued to blabber, but Raavi was lost deep in her thoughts.
'Ab tujhe samajh aayega Shiva. Zaroori nahi hai ki agar aap kisi ek insaan ki nazron mein bure dikhte ho to aap bure hi ho. Kuch aise log bhi hain jo ander ki khubsurti aur uski personality ko appreciate karte hain .Ab mein umeed karti hun ki teri insecurities thodi kam hui hongi aur tu humare iss rishte ke baare mein phir se, ek naye dhang se sochega.'
Raavi smiled as she walked inside with Tanya, happy that she was able to wipe some of her husband's insecurities.
The end.
I hope you liked it!!
I wanted this to happen in the show, I actually feel Shiva craves for acceptance from someone other than his family, be it anyone. And if that acceptance comes from somone who knows Raavi on a different level, the acceptance will work magic and their relationship will flourish like anything.
But a push of acceptance is required.đđź
Just what Shiva is silently asking from everyone.â¤ď¸
