This woman has commendable strength. AT21 was dedicated to the Ayi/Pallu relationship We were discussing dedicating the next one to Amma/Pallu- so nice to show such wonderful SIL/DIL relationships!

I actually never lost faith on her. The one time I didn't like her was when she confronted Pallu for her sangeet nightout and the first thing she said was "Kya tu Raghav Rao ke saath thi?"

Not asking if she was safe, not a single hug, not a motherly daant about how worried she got her... but whether she was with RR. I was really, really disappointed by that, bcz I had alot of faith in aai's character before that. I made a full-blown rant on MF, and some ppl told me to calm down 😂😂

But I realised that maybe she was just frustrated that VD was spewing nonsense about her daughter and she had no answers to shut him up (she hadn't developed a spine back then, she couldn't speak up for Pallu without a solid defense). That's why she just wanted to clear it out first. As for the marriage naraazgi, I could understand that too. She'd offered to leave everything for her daughter, start a new life with her, but the daughter chose to stay on with the Devil. She could understand what a blunder Pallu was making, but unless Pallu allowed it, aai couldn't do anything about it. She was worried and frustrated and upset. It was a completely understandable reaction from a mother. And then she saw Raghav mouth off everyone at D house, saying they don't deserve her, and she realised maybe this marriage wasn't a bad thing for Pallu. But she was still upset that her daughter had chosen to keep her out of it.

But I also will say this, Aai could never really make Pallu feel secure in her support, not the way amma can. Well, maybe support is the wrong word here. Pallu knows Aai supports her always, just that her support never meant a thing in D house. Amma's support meant that Raghav's actions would be in firm control, but could anyone control VD? Could anyone make Pallu feel secure that way? "As long as I'm here, no one can touch a hair on your head" kind of way?

That's the one thing Aai lacked, and I'm glad she's been growing stronger and stronger against VD. The vat savitri epi, the way she told him off? I lived for that ❤️
