Finally I found you here...... I didn't even notice the story index..... Just dove in to find you.....
And now that I found this OS and you especially here.... I am satisfied with all the mehanat that I did.....
You already know how much of a big fan I am of your stories...... As usual this story is toooo gooood.....
I am slowly getting hooked to this show also.... I have started watching the show from beginning and reading the stories.....šššš
Note: I haven't watched the show for the past two months. The following short piece is based on the little tidbit that I had managed to read from a few threads around here. Do let me know if the show is worth picking up again.

āMujhe jaana hoga.ā Pallavi announced as she threw her phone into her large handbag.
āBut Pallavi, tum abhi toh aayi ho.ā Raghav said, not even bothering to hide the disappointment in his voice.
āI know Raghav. But agar mein jaldi ghar nahi pahunchi toh bahut badi problem ho jayegi.ā She opened the door and had one foot out when she saw the look on Raghavās face.
The longing in his wide eyes was a clear reflection of her own. Unable to stop herself, she leaned over him and cupping his face, kissed him on the lips. His hands immediately gripped her shoulders then traveled down along her back. She relished in how warm his palms felt along her skin.
She broke the kiss with quivering lips and hung her head.
āHey, kya hua?ā Raghav quietly asked while running a hand through her hair.
āIām tired Raghav.ā She rested her head against his chest and cuddled against him a little closer. āNa raat ko neend aati hai aur din mein toh sukoon milne se raha. I just keep waiting ki kab mein aisi hi tumhari bahon mein so sakun.ā
āGhar lauta Pallavi. Uss Mandaar ko mein dekh lunga.ā
āMein Aai ko kaise chod sakti hoon Raghav.ā She asked helplessly.
āTujhe kisne kaha ki unhe chodne ki?ā He lifted her face and spoke earnestly as a plan started to formulate. āTum na Aai ko hospital le jaa. Say that she needs to get some tests done. Wahan se mein Aai kissi safe location shift kar dunga. Not that rest of the Deshmukhs deserve it, but unhe bhi kissi secure location bhej denge. Phir bas woh Mandaar rahega aur mein.ā
His eyes expressed a volcanic fury that would have shaken Pallavi to her core. But knowing that this anger was on her behalf made her fall in love with her husband just a little bit more. Cupping his face, she kissed him again.
āParso. Mein Aai ko parso hospital le jaungi. Ek din kaafi hoga kya tumhare liye?ā
Raghav nodded and wiped her tears. āItās more than enough.ā
Pallavi rested her head against his chest and hugged him once more. Though she knew she had to get back soon, Pallavi stole as many quiet moments as she could before she returned to her chaotic household.

Yeah, when Mandar came into the picture I wanted to let the track play out and see if it would be worth watching or if it's going to be same the old melodrama. But from what I'm understanding, the show seems to have gone for a toss which is a real shame. š¤
Do you know if there's a thread around here where I can get a synopsis of the missed episodes?

This was such a peaceful read! The serenity Pallavi's looking for is not only in Raghav's arms but simply in their home. Not like Raghav is home all day at RR mansion either, but Pallavi has nothing and nobody to fear there. That's the feeling of home that she's deeply missing - a place where she can just be without having to think on her feet all the time.
"Ghar lauta Pallavi." - I could hear Sai whispering that in his baritone.

I agree. Pallavi may do some household work around the RR home as well, but she was never made to feel as if it was her duty. She did it by choice and because she liked it. But the most important thing was that she had the freedom to do nothing at all as well. She could sit around and read magazines, watch TV, engage in some idle chat with Amma and no one would hold it against her. And that's what a sasural should feel like in the truest sense - not just your husband's home, but your own home as well.

Exactly, and they frequently show us the stark contrast between the families. She may not articulate it but deep down she feels it. You can even see it in her body language.
