His acting skills are challenged every second, and I am impressed by the nuances of child Shiva that seem so fluid between Harminder and KD!! It's as Harminder grew up to become Shiva!

My Chotu Shiva ❤️ I have to admit I have a slight preference for little Shiva over grown up Shiva. Love both equally but Harminder stole the show as Shiva! The transition has been so so seamless! KD picked up right where Harminder left off... Truly it’s a role of a lifetime ❤️

I keep going back to their childhood often because they had built up subtly for Shivi without being too obvious!

There are so many subtle moments where Shiva would feel neglected and lash out at both Dev and Raavi in different ways.

I watched one scene again after the Marble Gyaan of Dev! It was when Shiva confronts Dev after Raavi’s highway stint. Dev subtly points out that both of you are kids. You said : Go Die, so she went ahead to die!

Dev subtly looks like an outsider in their relationship, while Shiva thought that he is an outsider!

The very fact that Dev couldn't fall for Raavi could be perhaps because of the strange intimacy between Shiva-Raavi 😆

And, Shiva gets Jalkukda whenever Dev or Raavi gets involved 😆

I also saw how Shiva was worried about her and went to the highway!

Dev could never understand Raavi and her reactions, but Shiva knew immediately how she would react!

Shiva always knows her reactions but can't understand what's deeply buried in her heart now.

Exactly 3 minutes after the episode, the first trait that’s established between Dev-Shiva is Dev nitpicking him for his unclean ways and Shiva lashing at him! Dev-Shiva fight happens, and Gaumbi starts Tum Dono aaj bhi ladoge!

I love all your takes on the episodes but when you discuss their childhood and connect it to the pre-wedding episode I could read a whole novel full of such observations 🤗😆

Now that you mentioned Shiva’s side, Raavi was so childish and her love was clearly one sided. She never understood the part that Dev never reciprocated except for saving her from Shiva which she thought to be love. When Mami burnt Dev’s picture, she mixed the ashes in water and drank it😕 and when Anita called her in the highway, she says” Raavi sirf Dev ki hai, Dev ki rahegi” Is ladki ki dimaagh kuch bhi chal raha thaa. Now I think of it more and more, all she wanted to be was a Pandya parivar bahu.
What a 180 degree (opposite) turn she made when she told Dhara in the haveli Mandir that Dev has nothing to offer to her😕 If only she knew before, the heartbreak she went through at the altar and her suicide attempt would not have happened.

I agree with what you said about Dev, he knew was the third wheel but agreed to the marriage for family’s sake and Dhara, but he couldn’t go through with it as he thiught about Rishita and himself and the fact that he will be spoiling 2 girls lives. The only thing I did not like is that he waited too long to say that he couldn’t go through and ended ip breaking Raavi.

Shiva on the other hand, accepted for this marriage only for Dhara but things have changed for him as well. He has come a long way and clearly wants more out of this relationship now😃 All his farak nahi padta is all utter garbage😆
