Love shouldn't be selfish, it's unrealistic to expect 100% selfless love but Jasmine is selfish. Her burning her passport, cutting her finger, running away from her wedding isn't selflessness.. it's tactics to attain her zidd because she can't stand rejection. Realistically her marriage to Fateh after his divorce wouldn't be allowed so I have no clue what she's planning. Real selflessness would be if she just wanted him to be happy and not by her side at any cost.

Running away from her wedding is also her trying to get out of the mess she created for herself by agreeing to marry someone she doesn't want to marry.

That doesn't take away from the fact that Fateh is awful by the way.

Like I don't hate Tejo but her naivety at unexpected moments blinds the hell outta me. Where is her ability to deduce at least some amount of feelings from others' expression when she needs it?🤔 There are so many red flags!!
