I agree with the fact that even after their love begins, it will not erase the past or the memories they had when she was a child because that built the foundation and it's a beautiful one.

But, I have to disagree with certain things here. I know many couples go through various circumstances later on in life, they need to witness childbirth, later in old age, they have to even see their partners pee or poo everywhere, there can be so many instances of bodily functions or embarrassing aspects being completely openly displayed among partners.

The place my disagreement comes is that all this happens when they are adults, they are both of same age but in Rudhita's case, she was a child when this happened and this is a memory of her being a child. If I was Anirudh and this happened, then that girl will remain a child for me, even if she grows up and comes to me, I'll see her as the little girl.

This is a very difficult place to be and I am quite interested to know how the makers will change this view because picking this moment as the vital one really hammers in the point that she is a just a child for him. It does for me, I know others can have a different view and that's understandable too.

Yes, they had 250 episodes worth of journey and growth... but they chose the bedwetting as the memory to break through. See, I understand it wasn't just that memory but making it the significant memory just gives a different view for me.

If they chose a memory where they were like partners, like equals who solved a problem or overcame something.. any of such memories.. even the menstruation track would have been fine for me because those were instances where she was an equal, he treated her as an adult, she wasn't just this child he has to take care of.

The bed wetting incident is one which I felt where Ani was more of a protector, hero or just a man helping this child.

I don't think makers really thought of it that way. He just remembered that journey with her. That was a difficult phase for both of them but now it has become a sweet memory. Even in real life it does happen that way, when we are going through bad phase everything seems difficult at that time but when few years down the line we remember that time, we smile or laugh at it. I saw it that way that he was remembering that how they went through that journey together, how he used to tell her yeh karo voh karo, and she made a face, how they won it and all. It's just a happy memory for him of the time when Bondita was a part of his life. Of course seeing her as a woman would take some time but for this particular scene I didn't feel they I tended to show she is just a kid to him
