That post was my first one on the forum, how nice that you remember! The amount of bashing she got for the mirchi prank had blown my mind, whereas Raghav could get away with anything- "woh aisa hi hai".

Oof, she was bashed so much for that harmless prank- how tf was she supposed to know ki usse allergy hai? And he was masochistically eating it, warna mirchi first bite mein pata chal jaati hai. Such name calling for her that day, yikes.

Personally, I have found Pallavi/Shivangi terrific in those scenes when she has confronted Sunny. Particularly the one scene where Sunny and Keerthi are having an ugly argument and Pallavi sort of intervenes overhearing how Sunny was being disrespectful towards Keerthi.

Shivangi's expressions were so on-point in that scene 👌

I know people from Hyderabad speak words like " kya kartu hai?" 😆

What I wanted to convey was not all South Indians speak Kharab Hindi. There are a number of them who don`t really know Hindi at all...but there are people who know how read and speak Hindi very well. My dialect was from the perspective of being a South Indian. What they have been showing is saying some random words like "Aiyo Amma" "Bradh" "Vattu" "loosu" "enna kadavule"...etc. Nothing more from it. These are various set of words from various languages. It cannot be combined to depict South Culture na. It is like considering "Kem che" and "Kemana acho" as the same because they are North Indian words.

And when a South Indian like me watches it, it turns me off immediately.

This has been the plus one for me in the show. I could let Raghav`s Hindi pass for one main reason; he is a Hyderabadi in the show. I am also happy that they didn`t meddle with the languages, they picked a guy who is well versed in speaking Telugu unlike picking a person to portray a Tamilian who cannot pronounce "Unaku enna loose ah"

PS- I elaborated this to explain what I wanted to convey in actual. 😆

I really, really love how Kush and Shivangi play off of each other. I think Kush is a fab actor, one of the best ones on the show after the leads, and of all his scene partners, I think he's been the best opposite Shivangi. I loved Sunny/Pallavi scenes, right from the very first confrontation on Kirti's birthday, when she corners him outside the house and gets him to agree to help on necklace issue. Such lost potential in that dynamic.

That's just rediculous. Besides, she more than made up for it by taking care of Raghav herself.
