ML, lots and lots of love and strength to you 🤗❤️

Always remember our simple funda, your life your rules. Whether you want to get married or not have children or not and when, it's your choice and only you have the right to make that choice. Listen to your inner voice and don't let the outside noise overpower you. ❤️

Tu Mera Hero....

Main Tera Hero...

Today when Krish asked Raavi about accepting Shiva as her hero, did anyone notice a slight hint of curiosity mixed with anticipation?

Image

Did Shiva stop for a second! What if Raavi had accepted in front of everyone?

Image

Dobi ko Abhi accept nahi karna but Shiva normal chahiye use😆 Udhar banda frustration mein mar raha hai, inhe ordinary normal chahiye 🤣

Banda gussa hai! Biwi didnt call him hero!😞

Raavi, go and hug him please 😭

I’ve been reading all the beautiful inspiring stories that have been shared here❤️ loads of love and respect to lol of you. I’m so proud 😃

I know the feeling very well myself. I’m 33 not married yet, battling pcod and I know just how mean the society gets. Everything comes down to marriage and children, doesn’t matter what else you have achieved 🤢

I’m blessed to have an amazing family tho who has been my biggest support. My parents are super cool and have never forced marriage until I find my person.

I guess that’s why I connect to Shivas insecurities the most. Life is tough but yet so beautiful 😳

Let’s be grateful for the good and the bad🤗

You guys are some strong women and loved reading each of your stories. It goes onto show that irrespective of where we stay, nosy relatives issue is omnipresent.

I get asked about my marriage all the time as I approach 30, and nonstop comments (especially from relatives in India and those here from older generation subtly sliding it in) on how I should learn to compromise/settle, the clock's ticking, etc. Lately, I have gotten to the stage where I openly tell them that if I want to have kids, I don't need to be married, and I am a perfectly happy being single. And on topic of what the society says, I have told these nosy people indirectly that society doesn't pay for my bills, I do. So I do as I please, and this society has no say in how I should lead my life. Thankfully, it has minimized those questions coming directly at me (and goes to my mom) and has kept my parents at bay from bringing it up to me. And I am very fortunate to have a dad who cares rats ass about what the society thinks.

On topic of fertility, I never understood the society's obsession with another women's reproductive system. It doesn't matter if it's Indian or American. My friends from both sets of cultures face this issue. You'd think that being a woman, one woman would understand another woman's pain and understand her stand point. What's the point of constantly asking someone of the "good news". If a woman wanted to have a kid, she would have. It's her choice. If she wanted it and she doesn't have it, there are constraints. There's no need for anyone to prod in whatever those constraints maybe. It could be physical, it could be emotional, or it could be financial. If the said person hasn't opened up that conversation with you, be respectful of her choice and her right to keep her personal matters personal. The bottom line of this is that it's her matter, not yours. So keep your nose out of it. ("You" being generic) And I just can't understand what part of this do people not understand?!

And the sad part is these nosy relatives don't get a hint. Hint of people subtly telling them to stay away, hint of following others who mind their own business, and (non) hint, but direct messagmind minding their own business when it comes to fertility.

More strength and power to you guys for dealing it with the way you have!

I see this happening all around me, way too often. More power to you, ML. Do what your heart tells you, it’s your life. 🤗

Reading all your posts, I was reminded of an apt folk song “Rakita Rakita” in Tamil, it’s mocks how we are expected to live for the society and gossip mongers.

Naalu peru mathikkumpadi

Neeyum naanum irukkanum

Konjam moodikittu avanga sonna
Vazhiyiladhaan nadakkanum

We have to live in a way so that people respect us (exact translation is not people but “char log”)

We should shut up and walk in their path

Avanukkaaga appadi vaazhnthu
Ivanukkaaga ippadi pesi
Avanukaaga appadi nadanthu
ivanukkaaga ippadi nadichu…

By leading a life for others sake

By talking according to others wish

Behaving according to others wish

By acting according to others wish

Andha naalu peraiyum
Idhuvaraikkum paarthathilla naanu
Enakku theva patta neram
Andha paradhesiya kaanum….

I haven’t seen those 4 people (char log)

When I need them those fools are no where to be found.

So yeah, what I’m saying is, chuck the society.

Lots of love and power to you, ML. ❤️❤️

Hero is very upset 😩

I liked this entire scene very much starting with Gautam and Raavi. He was indeed waiting for her to accept him as her hero. But Raavi wouldn’t give in easily, she turned it on Krish😆 He was disappointed though and later he got offended and angry when she imitated him😕
He is expecting full acceptance from her, she is not giving it😆

She wants to spend the rest of her with him but don’t know why😆 - is it love or duty or she likes his family so much

Kya karein inn donon ko?😆
