There was a whole discussion about how Shivangi's eyes are actually grey & generally ITV allocates only negative roles to those actresses(Read: Amrapali Gupta) .

Even after Star+ recommended Sandiip to give black lenses to Shivangi to make her the general ITV FL, he said No. Cos he saw the potential that we all see onscreen now, her eyes are expressive & should be let free.

And that's how we were able to get Shivangi's grey expressive eyes from the start.

Am I missing something here?

One scene that remains highly poignant to me is - When Raghav's driving back after talking to VD at D-Nivas how Pallavi was innocent & he's the one to blame.

He answers Lungi Raghav's question - Now what'bt Pallavi - almost immediately with -

Pallavi's my wife, my family & I'll take care of her like I do of Amma & Keerthi. She will have all the respect & rights as my wife.

I was so happy with the dialogue, I literally wanted to if possible call Sandiip to thank him for creating Raghav's character so sorted & so right-minded.

That dialogue just took my heart🤧. I was so happy that I choose to follow this show which has a ML like Raghav🥺. From the past experiences of watching forced marriages in other shows I have never imagined him saying this and when he did I was literally so overwhelmed.

For a few episodes, they gave her lenses to make her eyes look lighter even than they naturally are- around the time Sunny was going on and on about kanji aankhein. It looked a bit off in a few episodes.

I love this new director. First thing I mentioned in the morning today was how well the episode flew! After so long I could watch the whole epi without feeling disconnected even once. Now I will also add that he has made the shots more aesthetic as well, soooo dreamy! I am bht zyada saara happy Ash just smiling and smiling and smiling. Lost.

But he was calm , he voiced it out to save the relationship and bcus he somewhere knew her unfinished words

That's why you see the tells her - aisa mat beech mai mat ladkao - had she confessed , he wanted to confess

He was on the edge at the point hence again next day he decorated the home to ask her to finish her confession

Yaa he knew she had feelings for him , bcus she chose to keep the fast but he knew it wasn't as strong back then as well . That's why he waited for her and didn't want to put that pressure

Last time he had forced her , he had voiced it out that he needs her

This time he wanted to start on clear slate where she chose to stay him bcus she loved him and not bcus he needed her ❤️

i mentioned it in Ashi's analysis too. This time around he didn't wait for her to finish or get interrupted again. Pallavi again couldn't face him while she went on to open up about her feeling. He somewhere wanted to look in her face and confess, watch as she hears and see her as she says it. They have this wonderful chemistry where they have to see each other always, no matter what or who. Even when Kaka and Amrutha had come to ask after Raghav after Mandar's Puja all tehy were doing were reading each other's face.

Also from her point of view; it was her first husband. They didn`t share a moment together after marriage but still; his parents gave Pallavi love and shelter; especially aayi. How can she not side him at this point? She didn`t go to him just like that; she went to him after assuring Raghav that she belonged with him and him alone. What more is needed? She is in fact doing queen things, people need guts to do such stuff. She has done it aesthetically with such love and care that even Amma trusted Pallavi. (Amma always trusted them...but just imagine; a mother in law not insecure about Pallavi doing stuff for her ex-husband. It`s worth getting appreciated.)

They are upraising women in this show in a positive way.

I have just accepted the fact that some people are born to be negative, paranoid or worse- plain hateful. We can’t do anything about them! But loss is theirs yk Ash! The beautiful episode we got today, they couldn’t even enjoy it because of their irrational fears. I don’t read anything from strangers aajkl because I don’t want their negativity to affect my opinion of Raghvi! Watta beautiful track we are sailing through, it’s never coming back. Such perfection!

I felt today’s episode did have those charms back. It’s starting to get there. Those beautiful frames during Dhadak sequence, did you notice?

Are they not originally brown? Hotstar pe toh dikhke aata hai uske lenses. specially during the old mansion scenes. I think it is super evident in the jaadu wala scene. uske pehle brown the, suddenly they went grey.

Ab pata nahi kaunse original hai.
