As everyone questions scenes, I’ve realized what a subpar show we’ve been delivered, especially with an ensemble cast. If this only focuses on GauRa, I wouldn’t have found fault with the bathroom issue, but thinking about how they handled it, that too kind of out of the blue of “hey guys! Here’s another problem the family faces!”
I wish they had a scene of Shiva accidentally entering the bathroom while Raavi was still in there (it could’ve been the scene to explain why Shiva pounded the bathroom door instead of just entering in 😆) plus it would’ve give Alice more screen space during these tracks + upped the angst level with Shiva being noticeably attracted to his wife while Raavi looks away. That could’ve served as a prelude scene to Rishita and Krish.
Bathroom situation is quite weird since, as everyone said, a simple latch could’ve temp fixed it… especially since the brothers are building a new room 😂
Agreed- I don't understand their rush. Even in the OG, they spent almost an entire episode on the bathroom scene to show Meena struggling with the bathroom issue, with the build up to her frustration. And then an episode or two on the aftermath, where Kannan feels really guilty and Mullai cheers him up.
Here they literally spent 5 minutes and kind of brushed it under the rug. There was so much potential to also show Krish's POV- he also kow needs to make adjustments, and it is a growing up process for him. Raavi-Krish bonding is also left out. The bathroom track could have easily flown in parallel with the room building this week 😐
In PS land, there is always a big build up to any issue, and once the issue comes to light, everyone magically becomes ok enough to just quietly crib in the background, and move on to the next issue.
Even PS folks know that there is anyways going to be a bigger kaand around the block. Why sweat the small stuff 🤣
