I totally agree about her being a horrible mother to Adi, Aps! May be she is hurting Imlie to hurt him too. Its very scary how she has justified her stance by doing the exact "dhoka" to her son. Just to make a point. Parents need to understand that even if its her child, she cant be possessive about them or treat them as a puppet or their toy. She cannot impose her choices on him. One thing that hit me now is that Aps, may be she has had such archaic traits in her and thats being shown in the show subtly? Like take her regressive classist mindset, the group of people she socialises with, their refusal to agree for Rupi's divorce, remember the day Radha slapped Imlie? That day Rupi gave us an idea how children are treated in their homes as well. I think those scenes were not randomly kept there. Looks like there was a lot of thought process. Tripathis were always like that I feel.

Coming to Imlie Aps, you know what I would say😅😅..I believe in fair treatment Aps! I have written that many times. I have always felt that ones actions and words dictate what they are. Not their mindset. Even if we say that she has a beautiful heart she still chose to vent her frustrations on that 19 year old girl without any care or concern and that too HOW! Malini's character was tolerable to me until she decided to torture Imlie because of her insecurities. While that was insecurity, this is far worse..classism. If Aparna has issues thats her problem, she could also stay indifferent to Imlie, but she decided to torture her instead, which was totally what she chose to be. Her inner turmoil will not EVER justify her action and words to people. I respect Adi because he never seemed to torture Imlie for her status. He was in denial for whole another reason..thats why I believe Adi's redemption is far easier than Aparna's.

T's having an archaic mindset was something I have pointed out earlier when they started the naukrani jaap. They have always treated her as a naukrani, albeit very subtly. Even the scene where Rupi said that they got beat up many times was still okay for me to digest, as many homes in India even today treat their kids like that with the maar peet and everything else. That is something I can digest.

But locking your child & going to the level she did to justify her stance just put the diabolical twins on a different level for me. Archaic ideal I can still bear, but this kind of attitude of doing something horrible just to prove a point - good mothers do no behave that way.

Your stance on her behavior with Imlie & mine will never match. So I am happy that atleast we agree on 95% , which is still a whole lot than we were a few days back, so that seems like progress👍🏼

Just one point though - Malini called Imlie names, but keeps flip flopping between calling her a sister and calling her names even today. While Aparna is calling her names and holding on to her stance, till she redeems herself & will apologize and try her best to make up for her behavior. That is why I will still accept Aparna's classist taunts to Malini's ravaiyya towards Imlie.

Because she herself saw how devastated he was when Imlie was taken to the hospital after the gunshot. She could not even find traces of those emotions in him for her.

Malini is ek number ki flipper. Wahaan pe kuch kahegi, aur next pal mein will be like - Adi is calling for me as he feeling the pangs of our 7 years ka relationship

Adi is going through only guilt. Uske aur Malini ke beech sirf aur sirf guilt ka rishta hai, aur kuch nahi. While her dialogue that day was true, neither of them wants to believe or accept that fact.
