yaa..to say u in real..actor Mandaar (Ashok)..hes from our cast too..& we speak konkani,

as we have moved from Maharastra to Konkan area long back.(British time).

so our mother toungue is konkani, which consists of Marathi words more.....we dont call ourself just Maratha...but Konkan Maratha..we have Marathi surnames for us😳😳...so whenever i used to do international travel from Bombay😆, they used to think me as Marathi girl only😳...our roots is maratha😳😳
