Yeah but before social media it used to like that with a majority of celebrities. You saw only one part of their life and they had more privacy. These days it's tough.

Malayalam - None so far. Any you'd recommend? I like heartfelt, sensitive stories. No dhamaal and no social issue movies, I get bored.

You can start with Trance, Kali, Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, Koode, City of God, Kumbalgini Nights, Joji.

And Sai looks like the kind of person who takes time to open up. Anyways I just like actors to be cordial and friendly .....dts all. You cant be frnds forcibly. As long as it doesnt hamper work.....how does it matter.

Yaar a lot of these fans are teenagers. I hv seen fans who still ship tv couples who are no more even seen together. So cant do anything abt it. Its just crazy .

Yes even I was pretty impressed by Akshita. She and their chemistry was the reason I started watching the show . But it kinda lost its charm for me after the marriage . Still they are both good actors.

Can I also add that even if people aren't on good terms (not the case here but on other shows) so what? It's none of our business. It's for them to manage.

If they actually did this , then there is still hope for fans everywhere I guess😆

Yeah, I was saying this on another post.

Sony still has the best programming in terms of variety. They always come up with good concepts every year. Some of the shows stick but then all get butchered in the name of TRPs.

There are some producers like the Patnaiks who held on to their beliefs and didn't give into pressure so they were able to tell their story. Fans responded and KRPKAB became kind of a cult show too. I wish more PHs would have the courage and that the channel heads would invest in good work. I know some PHs are now funding their own shows and owning the rights so that the channel cannot interfere anymore with the content. They only get a slot on the channel for airtime and it's pre-negotiated. So the PH can have say 200-300 episodes planned and the channel has to let them run all of them from start to finish. This way the writers don't go off track or feel stressed to meet TRP demands, and the actors remain satisfied with their character arcs.

It surely says a lot about the environment one has been brought up in. Not everyone can afford a carefree lifestyle, infact, the latter is a luxury.

And he comes from a regular family who hasn't been in showbiz so he's the first one and is learning along the way. I think the fact that he is well-educated helps a lot too with being disciplined. He held up his end of the bargain to please his parents and now they are supporting him in this career path. Parents' blessings are so so important in a person's life no matter what age they may be. It's also going to keep him grounded so he never forgets his roots. ❤️

One thing that came through in today's live session was how humble Sai still is. He didn't let all the fans' craziness get to his head.

The first instance which led to a second season of a show was berserk fan outrage over NBT going off air. The Colors channel heads were close to a breaking point with daily hate mails they were getting for off airing NBT and they finally relented and gave the show a second season. That was the start then KRPKAB also got 3 season due to fan demand and now IPZN getting a 3 month extension and KL&S getting an extension for 2 months. I think these days only Sony listen to their fan demands as it is the channel with most freedom for experimentation.

Wow I didn't now that about NBT.

Agree, Sony is good that way.

Wish SP would be too but then again the majority of their shows are quite similar. I think people trying to tell a different story shouldn't be on that channel but it has a lot of money!

I noticed the same thing too. They don't let fame get to their head and they keep themselves focused on the craft. They are often just at a much higher level in terms of professionalism.

Is Sai the first ML from the South on ITV?

Bollywood movies are basically getting destroyed on all fronts. But I would name one industry which is very underrated that is Marathi film industry and they like Malayalam industry make light hearted and realistic films and is in nominations or winning national awards each year.

Exactly! Same thing for the North East which gets ignored but they have amazing talent when it comes to creative arts.

As said previously no show till now has that kind of craze which IPKKND and NBT were able to create. No show were that popular where fans were literally warring with other fans for their respective show. The Colors exec still fears the name of NBT because of the harassment they have gone through at the hand of NBT fans. 😆

They were a victim of their own success! 😆
