My favourite Mani Ratnam movie has to be Yuva! I think it came at a time when I was in college! I was a fierce rebel participating in all forms of protests, and hence I Yuva was my anthem. I think the way all the three stories were narrated was fantastic. I have watched the Tamil version too. And, then the songs ❤️

First movie for Surya with MR and he had to shave off the mustache. I thought casting was apt except Esha Deol in tamil. Didn’t suit Surya one bit😆

Madhavan-Meera Jasmine were perfect😃

So were Siddharth and Trisha 😃

Songs are still my favorite. I watched that movie when I was pregnant with my son, so special memories😆

I have seen the Tamil version..Aayutha Ezhuthu...the songs and the storyline❤️

Its an amazing movie...It was a bold approach by Mani Ratnam❤️

❤️❤️I think the Tamil movie was well cast as well as Hindi. Ajay as Michael Mukherjee was fantastic in Hindi. Abhishek Bacchan was a revelation!
