P0rn is illegal in India. All major p0rn sites are banned. But like someone else said, laws hardly matter in India if you have the money and contacts to circumvent them. Ekta Kapoor is running a whole subscription service called AltBalaji which allegedly has a lot of soft p0rn. I don't live in India so I'm not sure but this is what I've heard.

Actually, all these new girls in the app were just teaser for top businessmen, politicians. His main business was HIGH END Prostitution.

He would bring in rich clients while shooting these soft p0rn and charge them hefty or get good favor from them. Then later these girls would have to sleep with those politicians, rich businessmen. Out of which only peanuts were given to these girls.

The success of HotShots App then propelled him to make new such kind of apps with even hardcore Indian p0rn like HotHit, Fliz and many more

This guy is brain behind current mushrooming adult app network.

IMHO Shilpa knows all about this, but she don't care about it.
