When I was much younger (15-16 years), I loved seeing fluffy, cute romantic scenes. But then, as I grew older I started to appreciate the opposite end of the spectrum more. Romance filled with angst, longing, passion, etc. I don't know when it happened specifically, but I started to appreciate the subtle romantic moments. Ones that don't appear romantic in the slightest; however, when you look back and see the entire picture, you realize how much the main characters loved each other.

It's why I don't particularly love (I like them, but I definitely don't love them) scenes that appear filmy (i.e., atta scene in the store, Shiva gazing at Raavi dreamily). Every time the fan blows Raavi's hair I can't help but roll my eyes at the absurdity (the inner child in me, though, loves it).

My all-time favorite ShiVi scenes were the subtle ones. I loved the scene where Raavi steps in as Shiva's proxy and no one in the family adamantly questions it (it showed me just how much everyone knew that Raavi's world revolved around Shiva and Shiva's world revolved around Raavi... had it been anyone else, I don't think she would've gotten away with it, nor would she have taken the initiative to be someone else's "proxy"). I loved the scene where Raavi immediately hugs Shiva (who is angry from being stuck in the closet) due to her excitement of being able to marry Dev (it shows me how Raavi is easily able to share her happiness with Shiva, despite him being an "enemy." I also am convinced if Krish or Dev were around, she would just bounce and excitedly announce the news instead of hugging them). I loved the scene where Shiva proudly gazes at Raavi when Gaumbi praises her (it shows me that they care for each other on a personal level. These games they play are superficial, and underneath it all is respect and admiration).

The track your suggesting is the romance that is right up my alley. Something that wouldn't be overtly obvious. Something that will give us a few monologues... however, I don't know if I trust the CVs 😆 I want to see a few more episodes before making my final judgment on whether the CVs will be able to handle such a track

Couldn’t agree more! What you have described above is exactly what I love to watch as well! I love subtle moments building up to a romance full of depth and intensity… one that leaves so much open to interpretation and up for discussion I love the ShiVi hug and Shiva’s expression in that moment! Such an impactful scene despite having nothing OTT about it. I prefer those moments to outright romantic ones. Very few couples can get me to enjoy softer romance, GauRa being one of them. But even then, there is something subtle and beautiful about their love.

Yep, my biggest concern is not trusting the CVs (goes for most ITV shows)… I feel like this track ends up being a mess each time. 😆 The one I mentioned is so so beautiful! It was a very unique take and was so well executed! Vikrant Massey stole the show! Would love to see it executed here with DevTa equally involved in the track.

The kind of friends with whom you can be snarky and frustrated yet they would calmly take all your mood swings . Rishita and Raavi are two polar opposites as girls yet their married life situations have fair amount of similarities for such a relation to blossom. I had thought of how it would all start.

Rishita is on the terrace( no idea if they have one just assuming) after another row in the house over Janardhan insulting Gaumbi . Dev had been furious and told Rishita that now there can never be any ties between her mayka and sasuraal. Rishita's temper had flared at such and she had answered back that her father did wrong to the family so did her bua, but what about her mother and sister? Can't she even talk to them. Dev had walked away angrily and Rishita found herself in the terrace.

"Painful isn't it?," She heard Raavi and told her to back off she does not want to talk and she can't even understand what she is going through. Raavi sits beside her. "Maami , kangan, Shiva; rings a bell? I don't think anyone nearby can understand you as well as I can right now." Her words jolt Rishita. It is true. Raavi is in a fairly similar situation as hers.

" But we accept gifts from maami and she also comes to the functions."

"Hmm at times I think it would be better if she doesn't. Each time she comes she makes matters worse insulting Dhara didi or provoking Shiva leaving everyone in foul mood."

Rishita looks at her wide eyed . Raavi rolls her eyes and says that she loves her maasi - she is the only mother Raavi has known but she can admit that her maasi behaviour with Pandya family is obnoxious. She has told her several times to not interfere in family matters but to no avail.

Rishita chucked bitterly why we do have such relations between our mayka and sasuraal- what a way to bond. Raavi smiles. Rishita looks at her and finally breaks down saying that she knows her family did so much wrong to Pandyas but it is not easy to cut ties from the family that raised you with so much love. Everything hurts. Raavi side hugs her and says that everything will be better with time; till then we will have each other.

Post this in Esha's Scene Requests Thread 🥳!! This is wonderful ❤️!

I so badly want to see a friendship between Raavi and Rishita. One that is based on two women in their 20s just enjoying the company of each other, gossiping about everything and nothing at all, supporting each other when the time comes. It's the same thing I wished to see for Dhara and Anita (pre-haveli). Women should never be pitted against each other!

And you are absolutely right! Raavi and Rishita are similar in more ways than one. Though their personalities are poles apart, they complement each other perfectly. Rishita could teach Raavi how to stand up for herself (what Shiva wants to see), and Raavi could teach Rishita how to forgive and love the family (what Dev wants to see). How beautiful would it be to see them teach each other instead of having their husbands teach them?

Exactly . And PS shows many beautiful relations but that sister or female besties is missing . Even Raavi Anita is not explored at all. Agreed 100 percent -Women should never be pitted against each other.

2nd para of yours is love - just what I want

I would post in scene requests ❤️

Also the GauRa's baby postponement reveal is bothering me a lot. I did mention about it in couple of posts. It was done as a matter of fact and though the ShiDev scene was excellent, the reaction was subdued. This track and the reveal needed a promo and should have been touted as something big. I think the makers missed the boat here.

In the OG it was revealed to different characters at different times but the impact and the way channel and the PH leveraged from it was huge.

I hope when they reveal it to Suman and others in the house, want it to be promoted well and I want to see a good drama😕

I have always cherished Jeeva-Kathir bond from the OG, one of the strongest bond I have ever seen. There are no words to explain what the 2 mean to each other.

I have always wanted to see similar bond between Dev and Shiva, right from the beginning and they did show it to some extent. But after marriage, especially in the haveli, they somewhat lost track of this except for few scenes and the makers didn't dwell on it much. Even in those short scenes I liked their bonding and the emotional aspect of it. Ever since they returned to Somnath and after the Jeera Kaand, I am so glad the makers have revived it and given a new dimension to it. Though the reveal happened in a subdued manner with no drama, I liked the reactions from these 2, their tears says it all.

I hope the makers continue to give us more of them and make it memorable for us.

P.S: I am now worried they are fiercely competing with my other favorite pair-ShiSh😆

Hint: It’s a track most ITV fans fear more than anything 😆 the only time it was done right from my experience of ITV was the Ayaan-Humeira (Rajni) track in QH. Uff the angst and emotions there ❤️ I loved watching Ayaan suffer and pine for her.

Every other show made sure it was the worst track possible 😆

Don’t hate me for imagining this track 😆 it has the potential to give us so many childhood flashbacks and symbolic moments (everyone knows how much I want those scenes).

Edit: The track in QH worked because there was no real third angle. I would love if they do the same here. Instead of third angle, use the same track to create angst between DevTa. I would love to see Rishita trying hard to stay strong but breaking down because she knows how much her family is hurting. And having to stay away from Dev is taking a toll on her. Shiva & Rishita would be the key players in this track.

*sigh* I wish I had time to write. Would have written something on this 😆

I have no idea about this 🙈 Can someone PM me this track please 😃

Thanks for the tags, and the appreciation for my sometimes overthought opinions loll. I still don't consider them proper analysis compared to some of the other posts here. I really enjoy reading these takes and understanding other perspectives.

I do apologize for always responding so late. I try to login during the day, and manage to read some of it; but by that time the conversations have already moved on. I always feel like I’m playing catch up loll.
