You think those expressions took the cake? I think the last line was the cherry on top. “Main Imlie ke liye bahut kuch karna chahti hoon lekin Aditya ke liye mere feelings beech mein aa jaate hain” like really? And we are supposed to buy into this behen prem? It is amazing that she she literally came running because Aparna lied that Aditya wanted her there. Then she went on to take a saree that she gave her. Then wore that saree and strutted around. Uske baad took that arti ki thaali like a bheek ka katora and stood ready to do whatever with a man who has told her time and again that she is not his wife. Those martyr-like expressions are not gaining her any brownie points from me. She walked into that setup all on her own but still came out triumphant after getting apologies from Aparna 🤷🏻‍♀️

@bold - this episode pretty much cemented the fact that we might never ever get an arc that does justice to Imlie’s turmoil and struggles at all. That is solely meant for Didi and her slow motion walks. They went into her mind and spelt out every single thought in her head. Similar to the suicide track. She is the only victim according to the makers looks like.

Re divorce: I think it will be circumstances rather than her taking any action on it. They can drag Imlie’s bebasi drama for a couple more weeks but uske baad aur kya track kar sakte hain? I mean we might get some cringe inducing KC Didi romance but what else is there to focus on if it’s not the divorce. I’m not expecting her to talk to the Tripathis at all. Even without doing an iota Aditya already tells her she has done so much for him and Imlie toh I doubt she has to do anything anyway 😆

Re: what the epi cemented....naa, woh bhi nahin hai exactly.....agle week Imlie ke thoughts will get their center stage too in this bahu wala competition I guess.....so Imlie ka time bhi aayega.....problem yehi hai ki the writers will always be too chicken to move beyond token Didi propping up as if yeh karne se they can justify that Adi-Imlie selfish nahin hain, abhi bhi Didi jaap kar rahe hain even if they are also trying to stand up for their own relationship😆......just like Aparna, certain people are always going to be fixated only on Malini and try to claim like Imlie took away Malini's husband when the opposite in fact is true.....lol toh unko pander karne ke liye chalta hai yeh sab .....phir humaari pandering ke liye table tod shaadi type stuff aa jaata hai.....lol sabko lapet rahe hain.

But as you pointed out earlier, I did like the way Imlie put her hand in Adi's when he asked if she wants everyone to keep maligning their relationship like this......that is what makes Imlie move out of any haze of guilt trip.....the fact ki if she just sits hiding away from the world, they will continue to give cheap names to her relationship with Adi and that is where she draws the line....she won't tolerate that either.

Following up on the NDE - with all the truth out - what do you think will cause the NDE - tried raising this in chat thread - did not get any responses :) - maybe you have some hunches. It has to be something Malini or Dev related. So far Anu looks chilled out with the divorce and with Imlie's rejection of Dev - no concern from the money/property share front.

Malini has to be in some kind of pain for Anu to lose it - now what more than losing Adi can cause her painIt can't be Imlie winning best bahu can it??? Maybe Dev's truth becoming public....but isnt that old news already? ...or will they remove the scene out.

My sentiments exactly- thanks for pointing this out! Imlie's facial expressions were brilliant today. without any lines she communicates her feelings...when Adi claims her or when she is insulted...the changes in expression are so nuanced and so good.

I have not watched the epi.

I will watch it if I feel like it whenever.

But I am just plain tired of Didi mahaan Jaap right from Adi-Imlie, T fam to society.

I understand that the story will never call out Didi ke faults & shamelessness & obsession with Adi.

So I don't want the divorce to happen without the KC truth coming out.

The point of contention for the T fam is their golden bahu & not Imlie. They have genuinely loved Imlie. Even if Imlie wins best bahu competition usse kya hoga. Na Didi ki mahanta Kam hogi kisi ke nazar main na Imlie will be valued more because right now she is the obstacle between Adi-Didi that the family needs to be rid of.

They don't care about Didi having an EMA with KC. They don't care about the when, how, why of Adi-Imlie relationship.

In fact the timing of Adi-Imlie truth coming out after the EMA news of Didi came so long before is somewhere making them think that Adi might be trying to give his relationship with Imlie a chance because Didi has moved on. Abhi Shaadi hui hai Adi-Imlie ki yeh baat they cannot ignore when it is out in the society. But kyunki the truth came out so late, it is looking to them that Adi is settling for Imlie & Imlie is being opportunistic. Adi kitni bhi zidd karega Imlie humari patni hain, Inlove her ki phir bhi they might think it is coming from a place of hurt pride & ego because Didi fell in love with KC.

So even if somehow Imlie manages to win over the T family, or an NDE happens, they will still consider her the second best for Adi. And when the KC truth comes out later, they will feel the regret & guilt hard alongwith Imlie. Adi bhi guilt feel karega but not as much as Imlie or family. But phir Imlie will always feel like she was accepted only because Didi did the sacrifice & the family would always want Didi.

So the alternative route is to let the KC truth come out before divorce.

I am 100% sure ke Didi se sacrifice ka dhong bhi nahi ho payega she is that indecisive about her feelings.

I think ye truth KC ki taraf se hi bahar aayega because he would know Didi doing it for love & he would want to give her a chance to mend her relationship with her husband coz he feels Kuch Kuch hota hai for her. Abhi tak Didi ki taraf se KC ke liye koi inclination nahi dikhayi gayi hai at all. He is just an audience to her who will listen to her dukh ki katha.

So if the KC truth comes out before the divorce, the same guilt cycle for Didi ki mahanta will happen. And Imlie will sacrifice her relationship with Adi for everyone's happiness. She is like that only. Only that can prove to the T family that Imlie was never opportunistic & her mahanta as well. She never wanted to come between Adi-Malini.

Adi will feel guilty about Didi but he will not want to sacrifice Imlie. He will still pursue her which will actually make the family realise that Adi loves Imlie only. Didi doesn't matter to him. Didi ko phir bhi Kuch realise nahi hoga. But she can't force Adi to be with her. So she will also have to give up alongwith the T fam.

I know writers will never give us this option but my wish is that this happens. This way Didi can reamin mahaan as well as T family will realise the actual extent of Adi's love for Imlie. It is 💯 times better than her being accepted only because Didi has moved on with KC.

Imlie was listening to so many accusations and not just outside but andar bhi jab tayar hui and usse laga ke ahayad tareef mile kis buri tarah se uska dil Toda gaya she was phenomenal with the restrain yet her pain showing but nahi didi ji ka ek standard aankhein beechna expression ka shot har jagah lagana hai caz epi toh unka darbaar sajane ko tha na 😆 who cares ke jisko lekar saara tamasha ho raha hai woh hai ke nahi episode main uska kya reaction hai khud apne episode main audience

Re: NDE.....lol I'm not thinking about the cause of the NDE yet cuz frankly that will be mostly irrelevant.....it is the result of the NDE that will matter.....which will likely be Ts ka guilt for hurting Imlie so much etc. etc. and maybe them finally accepting her as their bahu.

AC hardly needs any valid reason to attack Imlie.....toh kar degi for whatever daura she will get over seeing Malini ke tears....*shrugs*.....and everyone will brush it off as just one more random thing AC does and Malini will do a token apology on her mom's behalf and life will continue as normal for everyone😆

In all the other altu faltu pakaaoing stuff, I forgot to dwell much on Adi's statement regarding wanting to register his marriage with Imlie😆

So are we then to presume that this clears up once and for all that the Adi-Imlie marriage was never registered? So legally no bigamy?😆.....isliye sab itne relaxed ghoomte hain and no one brings up the bigamy angle?😆.....everyone is still going with the presumption that only the AM marriage was registered on paper so that is why it is being dissolved via divorce.

This would then indicate that while Adi has come to accept that his marriage with Imlie was always valid as per rituals, he still maintains that its legal status is dubious......and now in the face of so many people still questioning his marriage to Imlie, he wants to register it on paper to prove its legality.....lol

I guess some days back, someone was mentioning some theory ki Adi ka lawyer will tell him his marriage to Imlie was legally registered already after all and the one with Malini is void then? Haha I doubt that will ever be shown......especially given the levels of Didi ki bechaargi being propped up again ki Malini ki zindagi barbaad kar di blah blah.....Didi is going to milk that bechaari image to the max by standing around like a statue.

There was this moment when Imlie was getting ready and Aparna came to talk to her.....the way Aparna says ki ghar ke sab logon ne ek rang pehna hai aur tumne yeh wala and Imlie's like, "koi baat nahin, main bhi usi rang mein kuch pehen leti hoon"....man, itna dil pe lagaa na woh bit....Imlie already knows Aparna got an outfit made for her in that color and didn't get it to her....she knows she is being ostracized deliberately by not being given the family theme color to wear, phir bhi she offered to try and wear something in that color.....until Aparna cut her off harshly.....the way the shift in Imlie's eyes was shown there......it's just hard to describe in words how BRILLIANTLY Sumbul did that.....if I have time, I'll try post caps later.....but it really was an amazing piece of acting.....

Then yeah later on also when Aparna called her najayaz and said tumhein yeh sab sunne ki aadat hogi.....the way Imlie reacted today was different from her hurt and pain in the table tod shaadi epis when Aparna was lashing out at her.......today, it was like Imlie went NUMB in the face of hearing all this from Aparna....the stoic way in which she bore that hurt....ekdum heartbreaking tha to watch.
