Sorry to say , she is grown up and can give him back just like today. There is no doubt people should have that it is a period drama. Yaha har couple lover hua hai and then husband and wife. They have already lived sakha etc relationship. Ab jo hona chahiye woh toh hoga hi. Yeh pyaar hai bahot pyaara .
