They unfollowed Pallavi at the same time almost, and, Simran even said KD and Alice were always together. Could be wrong, but I think their friendship turned into attraction after Kinshuk’s birthday. That’s around the time I saw them in less group photos.

This also corresponds around the time Alice went and liked all of KD’s baby/younger pictures.
