I love how sane Gautam is! He has always been there for his brothers and today, his knee-jerk reaction was not of anger, melodramatic or even reprimanding. He quickly understood what he was going through and also wanted Shiva to understand his self-worth.

A part of me doesn’t want the show to run for more than 1.5-2 years. Just look at any show that has been on air for that long and you’ll see that one can barely recognize it anymore.

Having said that, I do want them to be able to give us the story they have in mind and the one we deserve to watch. It’s sad because the team won’t get the chance to put forth the story they have in mind no matter how long they are on air.

Eventually, the channel will interfere and will totally twist up the show. This will make it hard for even the most loyal fans to watch, giving them the perfect reason to axe it. Apparently the channels edit the episodes and make last min changes to the script. Tracks get tossed overnight (even ones that have been completely shot and edited). This cycle literally keeps repeating with every show that tries to stay away from being toxic. No wonder ITV can’t give us something beyond the usual.

I have watched this film before but it was called KHKT. Stable TRP’s start dropping a bit, tracks abruptly change, fans try to remain hopeful but each passing track makes it harder, eventually fans get fed up and so does the team, channel completely destroys the content and shuts it down due to “lack of trps”. It’s absolutely heartbreaking! It doesn’t make sense from a business perspective and don’t even get me started on how unfair it is to the team.

In the end, it will come down to whether or not SP wants to keep the show on air. I wish there was a way for these shows to get some time to play out their original storylines and then the channel can do whatever they want. I feel like it’s such a dirty game they play with fans who are so dedicated and the teams who work so hard. I honestly don’t get the point of axing good shows and bring in new ones, only to do the same thing.

This is soo truee!!! But sometimes best shows have the worst fandom and vice-versa..

Though twitter fandom is crazy, they do have a role on the trp, agreed 3/4th of the fandom watches it for Shivi but they fail to look into the other good aspects as well, one of the reasons so much of drama is shown...

Another major drawback is the release of the episode on hotstar before the telecast... I seriously cannot imagine people watch the toxic stuff twice to increase TRP while deserving feel good shows suffer..💔

Yes I have also heard about channel making the writers do last min changes. A lot of good stuff is edited out. It really unfair đŸ€”

Atleast they should give the show some time to tell it's story.

You can't have a yrkkh and kekta show storylines with triangles and extra marital and kitchen politics everywhere

Sorry if there are any fans here don't mean to offend anyone.

I know how ruthless the channels can be.. and it's really unfair for the team and the loyal fans who relentlessly work for the show's success.

I don't think PS will be put off air this soon.. they will and should give it time of atleast 1.5 to 2 years for the proper story to unfold.. and honestly some shows do turn crass after a certain period of time so we have to see how consistent PS stays after that time.

SAKK has such a loyal fanbase, I don't watch the show but have seen some fans root for it relentlessly.. but still it's going off air.. SP is too cruel.. and it showed the torturous SNS for God knows how many years.. and still shows it's repeat telecast sometimes😡

KHKT was shut down for this reason? I thought it got shut abruptly because of Covid lockdown and they just dropped it.

Oh I agree! It’s so sad that wholesome stories are not appreciate on ITV. No wonder we don’t get too many ensemble shows with equal screen space for each character. Toxic fandoms stand in the way and then there are trp issues as well.

@Bold That is so true and disheartening as well 💔 In the end, the good shows suffer 😭
