I haven't felt similarly, but definitely that hug and tear wiping scene was 100% off yesterday due to the body double...

Today's episode was absolutely beautiful.

We finally saw Sai happy after being abused for so many episodes. This girl really deserves all the joy in the entire world. She is just so pure.

First of all, Virat's expressions in this entire episode were pouring out love. Especially at the part when Sai starts crying, telling him she knows he did everything to make this day special- he starts crying too. Sai is really his everything. From getting mesmerized by her walking down the stairs to staring at her in the bedroom- his eyes can't get enough of her happiness.

In the bedroom, Virat tells Sai that he knows everything about her- even the things she doesn't know. This is yet another indication that he knows she is falling for him. She doesn't have to tell him how much sugar she likes in her tea, what her favorite color is, or even how she feels about him. He knows her. He knows everything about her.

SaiRat were magical today, but the highlight of the episode came in Sai imagining her abba. Abba is a part of her. So when she was talking to him, she was in reality talking to herself- the thoughts that she does not realize she has every single day. When abba points out how much Virat loves her, takes care of her, does everything to make her happy- that is Sai telling herself. Abba was the one who tied SaiRat together forever and forever, so for him to come and tell her all of this- it shows that now a part of Sai is realizing it too. When Sai talks about their relationship being like a flower or tree, abba says he agrees- and he tells her never to break that bond... that it is more than a duty or limited relationship...that it will last for a lifetime and more...that if she tries to leave, both of them will die. Abba and Sai today showed Sai's own inner conflict. She knows what Virat means to her, but the zimidari always becomes a barrier. But, today, through abba, she finally admitted that her and Virat are meant to be tied together as husband and wife.

The sad part was that before making the vaada to her abba to never leave Virat, she is interrupted by Virat. This seems to indicate that there will be barriers they have to cross before Sai can truly let herself commit herself to Virat forever. Namely, she has to get indication from Virat in his words that this marriage is the realest thing both of them have. However, the fact that she was interrupted by Virat himself, pouring his love on her, just shows again the extent to which Virat has committed himself to Sai and no one else.

The character assassination and suicide tracks will make absolutely 0 sense after all of this. Hoping that the makers don't let us down this time.

On another note, Vanku baba really did our beizzati by not showing Veeru putting the pendant on baiko. And yet he was able to show kaku taking her's off. Just wow 🤣

I'm going to choose to ignore Trimurti's dialogues at the end. They are just vultures. And we were blessed with no didi, but we all know didi overdose is on its way.

Overall an absolutely amazing episode.

@bold I wanted to share my views on this for a long time now but nobody was making post related to it. Btw your post is alao not dedicated to this issue solely but I will take this opportunity here😆

The cvs actually suffer from short term memory loss and they keep going for vacation in their parallel world of ghum where virakhi romance is blooming, sai is an idiot, virat is bigger idiot and kaku gang are most villainous in laws ever in the history of itv, other characters are just for namesake.

After showing all this we dont expect character assassination and suicide track because it will interupt the flow of show and will result in main leads behaving out of character. But cvs cant be trusted, they can again plan their short vacation in imaginary world where anything can happen and when they will come out of it everything will be back to normal like nothing happened.

Exactly this was done when Neil had covid infection. Now the sai-c gang challenges are all presented in funny way and although there are taunts and beizatti but there is no seriousness. In the starting also it was going like this but then that devkit track came together with corona attack on neil and boom! Cvs went wandering into some other world where they showed that kidnapping track and then forget it loke it never happened.

I mean once you know that some people of your family are bloody criminals then things can never be the same with them, you cant count them in as your family but here sai keeps trying to please them.

So I fear, this can happen again.

@red I perceived it in this way that sai was going to promise aaba to never leave virat but virat himself stopped her, meaning virat will again do some stupidity or there may be another misunderstanding which will prevent sai from confessing her love or believing on virat's love

100% agree with you. I have said this in a lot of other posts on this forum, actually. One of the biggest problems with the creatives is their inconsistencies. In addition to what you have pointed out, my issue sometimes with Virat's character is that they add their original touches to him, making him nothing like Rono, and then all of a sudden they make him do the kaand that Rono did in KD. But Virat is clearly softer, gentler, and wayyyy more in love with Sai than Rono ever was. So, now, after showing Virat, who literally cannot tolerate 1 single tear in Sai's eyes, who understands that she is falling in love with him but cannot admit it yet, who literally tells her that he knows things about her that she herself doesn't know, who is HELPING her realize his feelings for him.... he is going to character assassinate her and lead her to committing suicide? Just not possible. If the makers want to blindly copy paste Virat, then they cannot be giving us all of these developments in his character and SaiRat's relationship.

The episode was good. My favourite moment of the episode was Aaba's and Sai's conversation. Sai and Aaba always makes me emotional. And it so wonderful of them

to get the two onscreen on Sai's birthday when Sai would be missing him beyond everything. The conversation though it surrounded around Virat, it also tells us

Sai is not the ziddi badtameez Sai that everyone talks of...she listened to him, she understood him, because she was understood, given a chance to present her view points, without any judgements from the other end. Aaba was her father, her mentor, her guide, her life, her family and her world. The small scenes shows the importance the two held for each other. The dur share a great chemistry and always get me into tears. Sai got to see her father on her birthday listen to what he thinks about her. In reality one would never see, the one who is gone, would never get to know what they think of you now, what they want you do now, how you should go ahead in life now. Life changes and its now on you to deal with it , however it comes, with no Aaba around to guide you, to love you, to mentor you, to stop you from committing mistakes, to show you the right path.

It was great to not see Didi around. .. Episode and mind both seemed peaceful .

Kudos to Ayesha for carrying that glittery Gown and look so pretty.. Ayesha actually makes Sai look innocent and adorable.. Her childlike excitement was fun to watch, considering I am not a fan of princess wala feel on birthdays..But then Sai is at the age where you like being princess and all.. smiley1

I really liked the episode.......I can see why some were frustrated with the SaiRat in the episode but I blame the body double because the rest scenes with them were nice for me 😊

Aaba (Abba? Aaba? Same thing 😆) /Sai's scene was the highlight and one of my all-time favorite Ghum scenes now..........this show hasn't done many things right, but the way they have shown this father-daughter bond and Ayesha/Sanjay Sir's acting is so beautiful.

As for the suicide track discussions, that is 100% happening no matter how little sense it makes. Vanku won't move past KD so........best is to either sit out for a week while it airs, and watch after the aftermath airs, or just cut your losses and watch it like I will. What else is there to do

Loved how you have written about Sai and her abba.

And I agree about Ayesha being effortlessly beautiful. That gown is just not it, and yet she carried if off with such grace. She was glowing 😊

I agree. I loved the entire episode except the Anjinkya BD + editing kaand 🤣and Sai + abba scene was definitely the highlight!

Yaar please don't say such scary things about suicide being 100%.... the least they can do is show an accident instead. They even changed the fake suicide to fake accident pre-college fest...

If they want to copy paste KD then they have to abide it to the tv audience in these difficult times. Showing it as accident will make it easier to digest and just go with the flow but if it's suicide, many will refrain from associating sai with jealous husband.

I agree behen but see this is a sane thought.

Sanity and Ghum don’t go together...given how they word for word copy pasted the throwing out track, I am bracing with 99% belief that they will fully copy paste KD that too the Tamil version had the suicide track as well so……odds are even higher of a copy paste.

more than suicide the character assassination by virat will be a big issue after he is in complete love with sai
