That said, I do think Raghav needs to work on expressing his feelings better. 'Main sab kuch nahi bolta' can't be a permanent excuse to not communicate. He doesn't have to keep saying 'I love you'- that would feel silly. As a viewer with ample insight into his headspace, we know exactly how much he values, loves, appreciates and cares for Pallavi. But he's not really letting her know that. She too, deserves to feel loved- she is perceptive, so she knows why he's doing what he's doing, she won't hold it against him, ever. But his words and actions, combined with SunKi's taunts, must be stinging somewhere- she's only human, after all.

He's the one who'll have to make her feel secure in that regard. She knows he cares, but she doesn't have much insight into the depth of his feelings, because his guilt spiral has caused him to close off. But ultimately, all the respect and love and care is meaningless if he can't make her feel it, and that expressiveness, I think as we all said, will come when he gets that major jolt that pulls him out of his downward spiral.

The situation is so much more nuanced than who loves the other more, who cares more, etc. I guess some of the nuance has been getting lost in recent discussions.

Totally agree with you - Raghav needs to come out of the guilt phase and go actively chasing his happiness. He needs a trigger for that to happen because right now he is fighting far too many fires by himself and he is content with the way the things are between him and Pallavi. He needs to realise that he deserves Pallavi's love and he can be worthy of it too. But Kya kare due to his spiralling guilt he feels undeserving of her love and affection. He wants it - no doubt on that but he is not actively pursuing it. It is like he can't believe this can be for lifetime. He already was feeling bad on how he treated her earlier during their tussles - now add to it

- kidnapping and putting her in danger

- he publicly declared she slept with him for money ( this when she had never even shared a bed with anyone)

- forcible marriage with no rasams, no happiness

- and now his sister made her widow on the day of marriage.

How can he even feel that she can and should be staying with him. All this has to be collectively forgiven by him as well as Pallavi so they need to have an in-depth conversation about their marriage. But these two are magnets when it comes to danger so yes the inner tussle and conflict will all calm down only in the face of clear and present danger.
