Piu, lovely post like always. I too felt that there was so much conveyed through this scene. Raavi indeed needs a lot of energy to keep up with him. When she could not match up, he took her with him and she did not hesitate to go, infact she was amused by the way he was holding her pinky finger. Remember the time when he held her pinky during the Kul Devi pooja, how she hurt him with her words due to the MU, Raavi has come a long way since then, infact a full cirlce and ready to walk in his path. We all know this girl has accepted the marriage like you said, during her conversation with Dhara at the temple in the haveli, "Kam se kan ek dor toh bandhi hai" and that Dor got a little stronger in a positive way.

He doesn't want to go into the past but she does when she sees her friend, but that demons from the past and clearing them. is what's going to eventually unite them foreversmiley27

Since the diary was a non-issue in the OG, I am eagerly waiting to see what they have in store for us here, because he is confronted by 2 issues- his insecurity and her past lovesmiley4

My dear soul sister, Prema. smiley31You know that I am a big fan of your posts with insights including those of the original regional version.

I think both of them have a lot of baggage from the Past, and dealing with such a profound narrative requires a lot of understanding, mutual trust and conversations.

They both clearly lack that at this point of time.

Perhaps, this track has been kept as a revelation so that they start moving towards each other by knowing their hearts and have acceptable dialogues.

Thank you for sharing the insights from the regional version where the diary was a no issue. Here, it seems to create a whole new world of misunderstanding between both of them.

Honestly, it breaks my heart for both of them because neither is at fault. The past cannot be changed, the present has to be talked about, and the future needs to be decided.

It’s a huge challenge to break their mental barriers and truly stand with each other.

@bold-well said! smiley31

Thank you so much for your kind words of appreciation, Pixie.

There is almost a childlike innocence in his ranting where he is angry at her for not being in his team.

It takes me back to their childhood fair both of them would hurt each other and he would end up sulking.

Sigh! The pathos!!! smiley27

I seem to tag you ever Pixie.

So true about sharing the same circle of friends. My husband like I said grew up with me. We had same circles that we moved around except the school and college ones. The whole fam and the distant relatives too till date tease us because we used to fight like crazies. We still do. Whatever he said got back to me and vice versa. Never called him such names but there were other things. Now we laugh it off. And even when we fight we still know where we stand but then our fights used to be highly irritating. When we engaged in fights, the world did disappear. It was me and him and the need to one up. Now its me and him and the need to make either of us see the other’s point. Many things have changed but still remains the same.

Thank you for sharing your personal anecdote with me. smiley31

The bickering, ranting and encountering strange things about your past wouldn’t have made such a difference had they already been in a good relationship.

His new-found feelings is making him confused and his insecurities are cropping up every second. If her greatest fear had been abandonment, his biggest pet peeve has been rejection.smiley19

Also, did you (or anyone else for that matter) notice the change in his voice modulation as he tells her to stay away. That was brilliantly done. It was that deep voice you get once you've been crying type. That whole scene was bravo👏👏. Loved the split mirrors/ frame nuance added by the team as well!

Thank you so much for your lovely words of appreciationsmiley27smiley31.

You are right about the voice modulation.

I think from anger to frustration to finally going ballistic, everything was portrayed with such fierce dedication And intense passion. smiley27

Kudos to KD for this one. smiley32

Mirror usage has always been the speciality of sphere origins shows. I am not surprised but I am happy that they have kept their essence alive.

Piu, once again another lovely post on their third important scene of the episode. Each one was unique and told us so much about their relationship. This particular scene was heartbreaking though. We all knew one day Shiva's has to deal with people questioning his looks, dressing, left to himself does not bother him at all. But he is at that stage where he is longing for acceptance from Raavi and wants to move ahead. This is precisely the reason why he rejected the ajnabee/friends request from Raavi. That said, whatever Sneha spoke today, the audience knew about it and Shiva knows too that people talk about his looks and clothes. It hurt him only because he was compared with Dev and Sneha questioned Raavi's decision, even went to the extent of asking her why she didn't elope. Shiva did not marry Raavi at that time thinking he would eventually start to fall in love with her. Infact, I believe he thought it would be a loveless marriage, that's the vow they took on the wedding night (dho nafrat karne walon ke shaadi)

You have the split mirror scene that clearly distinguishes and shows to him that he is not good enough for Raavi. She was clearly affected by what Sneha said and was in shock herself to quickly counter Sneha's accusations. When she turned around to look at him, she could see that he was hurt and did you notice he slightly moved forward, I think mostly to get Raavi and go back, but he didn't, instead walked away angry without saying a word. If it had been the pre wedding Shiva, the outcome would have been different, this time he kept quite for Raavi.

After Raavi goes behind him, first time in a long time Raavi gave safai, that she said all of this to her friends before marriage and how he also treated her badly. It was child like banter when he asked her to stay away from him and he don't want to be in the same place as her. Whatever he had done to her in the past, he had done it alone without involving anybody else. But Raavi on the other hand gossiped about him to her friends which has come back to haunt her today. She apologized in her monologue and has accepted her mistake. Now it will be interesting to see how she rectifies it.

Special mention for KD'a acting here- his voice modulation, expressions, body language were top notch. He always nails these intense scenessmiley42

Alice was amazing as well and she looked extra cute today with her stylingsmiley42smiley27I like the side parting on her, mentioned this back in EDT# 14 or 15.

P.S: In the promo Raavi is again calling him names, inspite of knowing well that it affected him when Sneha called him that. So I am going to wait for the episode before I comment on it.

This post deserves this standing ovation. I couldn’t have said anything better or even add to it.smiley32

Regarding the promo I think I will also reserve my judgement till the actual episode airs.

Haan thats what even I think ki had they known where they stood in the others life, this could have been something to laugh off. But he is swaying in doubts and his heart has been softening due to his new feelings. Now he is already in a weak state. So when Sneha talked non sense and the diary too made it’s appearance, it affected his already sensitive heart badly.

Pehle also she must have said this but then his heart had hardened and he was sure of his world and also it’s people. Now his world is in chaos because of her and he isn’t sure about where she stands so, more pain, unsure feelings and guilt (there is no actual basis for this though).

I loved reading this....I really liked the subtleness and deep meaning the CVS gave us through the mirror scene. Reading your thoughts here now has just elevated my way of understanding the scene. The two separate mirrors, the way Shiva looked down after the realisation that he might be unworthy....I loved the detailing heresmiley27
