To be frank I watch most of the shows only for ML I have been attracted to FLs mostly their acting especially only very very few. But all MLs are exception and this according to me, I am not saying FLs are not good, I’m saying only I don’t like that much

Like you said he does care about Pallavi and its for her sake he is going to jail ,but he doesnt care for her more than he does Amma and Keerti .. I think he should considering it was her who has that much trust over him , for reconciling him with his mother and sister
