Make a post about Siddharth Malhotra and Aditya Roy Kapoor - two good looking flops without a lot of talent. You will get plenty of people defending them and calling them underrated and finding the occasional scenes or movies where they were decent. Make a post about Dia Mirza and people will commiserate about how sad it is that she didn't get her due. I've even seen posts about that useless Imran Khan and feeling sorry for why he doesn't have the career he deserves. Twitter constantly posts about him being some kind of romcom king. 🤪

Rule no. 1: be good looking. Rule no. 2: don't be bad looking.

Aishwarya comparatively had a more successful career (even if its not by much) than Abhishek.

Abhishek is kinda average in everything. I mean he can be considered a pretty decent actor, but the constant comparison with his father has ruined it for him, looks wise also he is quite mediocre, I mean he doesn't look bad and all but doesn't look that great either, most importantly, he lacks that powerful screen presence,unlike his father. So it's a combination of a lot of things. On the other hand Aish is popular also because of her "good looks", she had the Miss World title, was and still is considered one of the most beautiful women, at least in BW, though that's obviously debatable but that's another thing, is charming and has that "starry aura". Moreover she has also represented India on an international level, is not a bad actress as well, all in all has had a much more successful career graph than Abhishek I believe. I am a fan of neither but can't deny that Aish is far more popular than her husband.

It's pretty simple. Aish is successful while Abhishek is not. Aish has fans to defend her while Abhishek does not.

If you're successful and have fans to defend you, you're less likely to get trolled. Abhishek gets trolled because trollers don't fear to get a reply from his fans, because there aren't any.

That's not true... we take pride in trolling all actors equally...

I see people making threads on Amrita Rao and Akshay Khanna, both are unfortunate looking.
