Only what they think goes through... Non acceptance was expected... They have been hurt... Imlie is cause for them and they will definitely hurt her for they are feeling cheated and humiliated as of now... They are only seeing from their sons pov.. That he did not complain.. He married M and then fell in love.. They are no able to process what Imlie must have through in this... How humiliated she must have felt as well and how humiliated she must have felt leading this life in her own sasural and seeing her husband marrying someone else... They are ignoring that part now... Only seeing Adi married Malini and she should be his wife as that is so convenient for them flaunt in society... Sab apna dekh rahe hai... No one is thinking for the pain of Imlie now and it is natural for them to not be Mahan.. I expect slow realization like BS...

Yes, their journey is going to mirror BS's journey to fall in love with Imlie. First denial that a naukrani can be their bahu, then anger at their son for doing this and cheating Malini, after which comes bargaining with Adi to leave Imlie & get back with Malni, then they will go into depression, specially during the entire divorce period and then finally acceptance for imlie will come. So unless they pass through all these stages, they will not be able to complete accept Adi & Imlie's relationship.
