I'm on the other end. I love the dark kohl on her. I just prefer the rest of her makeup to be a little lighter. I remember being told this rule of thumb from when I first started doing make-up- if you highlight the eyes, your lips should be natural, and if you wear a bold lip, keep eyes super basic. Never do both. I guess for me Shivangi's look seems a bit off when both are done up, but I love it when they focus on the eyes with kohl or smokey makeup.

Overall, I loved today's look. The sari, the makeup, the hair. It worked for me, even though I'd hated it in the BTS.

That basically means you got me all distracted while you were sitting back and enjoying the episode 🤣🤣

But aaj kal ho gayi hoon. It's been 18 months and I've not stepped out at all unless absolutely essential, so social life is fully dead.

I feel the news is just gossip only. These gossip sites create these things as just click bait. Plus tomorrow is Sai's birthday too so just to get traffic on their portals they write these stupid articles.

This is possible you know. But star has a reputation of axing the low trp shows, so idk. But I have been telling myself this only, that it’s a rumor. Can’t afford to be sad right now

plus it’s Sai’s birthday, given the fact how active he’s on social media, I wish people could ignore the news for a day at least and there would only be positivity all around. There should be. ❤️

If the news is accurate, it means the channel has told them to pull up their socks. Usually, they'll have given a deadline as well.

TRP is such a messy system, which is why I don't discuss it much online. BARC points are pulled basis a sample of 40,000 households and businesses in the country with a TV connection. No one except the agency knows which 40,000 are being sampled at any given time, but iirc, the breakup is 60:40 for urban:rural and 65:35 for Hindi-speaking/South. 25% of the panel is changed annually, with the entire set of empanelled households thus renewing every 4 years.

Point is, in a country of 1.3bn+ people, 40,000 is a terrible representative sample. Additionally, TRP is taken as the only metric for the success or failure of a show. When the only metric is such an unreliable standard, success or failure becomes a shot in the dark. It ends up boiling down to luck more than anything else.

It's been hard, but I've maintained protocol very strictly, even when the rules lightened up. Not worth getting sick or making other sick.
