Vahi toh. Explicitly dikhayenge nahi. They'd just imply. I quit on Krishna Chali London after Radhe died. Not because Veer wasn't good enough, but because this was supposed to be Radhe and Krishna's story.

Maybe to prepare anticipatory bail papers? I don't think he'd want to be in jail knowing Ved is around to harm the family.

So she has to keep all her emotions side and do what needs to be done..

The concept of karma and dharma here were well used in that flashback. I liked the fact that Ayi also talked about not focusing on the results of your actions but to go on doing what is necessary. This probably aligns with Pallavi going ahead with her investigation and not worrying about the collateral damage or about success for now. She has to put in her best effort and deal with things as they come up, without losing focus. She also has to be ready to face the consequences and I wonder if she will be able to handle it when the time comes. So even if she starts off by accusing Keerti, it's going to hurt Raghav because he will feel like he's failed to protect his sister. It will also hurt Amma a LOT, and I know that will in turn hurt Pallavi because she cares so much about her.

I think they almost stopped short of likening Raghav's dilemma's to Karna's. He knows morally he's walking a fine line. He didn't bother to hide anymore that he'd slipped up and let out that he wasn't the culprit. It took some of the burden off him as he doesn't have to lie to her anymore. However, he knows full well that he's protecting a criminal act, so he has nothing to say in his defense but will remain committed to his path the way Karna was, leading to self-destruction. Only thing is, in this story Arjun and Krishna are not going to be at opposite ends for good, which I frankly would have liked to see - Raghav and Pallavi having differences in philosophy that get in the way of them uniting completely despite the immense love they share. This is not that kind of tale, so in a way Raghav is also kind of on the Neelkanth path, swallowing the poison himself to protect the others, and Pallavi as his Parvati will have to stop the poison from spreading further before it destroys everything.

I actually think the conflict would be far more compelling if Keerti is indeed the guilty one and not Sunny, because not only would it break the Rao family apart it would also drive a wedge between Pallavi and the Ds. It would bring everything out in the open and force people to make choices. Not everything in life can be tied up nicely. You need to face the repercussions of your actions, whether it's Raghav protecting his sister instead of helping her learn a life lesson, or if it's Pallavi who chooses to investigate and punish the offender to get closure for the Ds and herself at the risk of breaking her husband's and MIL's hearts. I found Raghav's reconciliation with Amma too rushed and frankly, I would prefer if Keerti and he don't reconcile just yet. I want her to earn his trust and forgiveness. Now, knowing the kind of guy Raghav is, he will melt in an instant if Keerti takes even one step towards him. If she's innocent and he takes her out of her misery, she would be happy for herself but angry about Sunny being caught. If she's guilty and Raghav saves her by going to jail himself, would she continue to be selfish and let her brother's life fall apart like that? I want to see that growth in her.

Making Sunny the culprit seems too convenient. As much as I don't like the guy, I'd prefer he be the one who helped Keerti out when she hit Mandaar, and that this is the reason she's emotionally bound to him.

I absolutely loved Raghav's scene in office - his talk holding the wedding frame was so beautiful.

And Farhad is back. I am so happy to see Farhad back and Pallavi counting Farhad also as one of the people Raghav is trying to protect. Yes If it was Farhad also Raghav would have protected him. Pallavi full on Pallavi Raghav Rao ban gayi hain. Looking forward to the angst episodes - both trying to save each other and their loved ones.

@bold this was my favorite part of the episode. That tear drop rolling down the frame.

I really want Farhad to proactively be involved in helping his Anna out and proving his innocence.

Ashu, mujhse Raghav ka dard aur nahin dekha ja raha hai. I know it will get worse than this. If I feel so bad now, no idea how I'm going to handle it later.

I don't want to watch today's episode but I'm too addicted to stay away.

She really does know him well enough to know that he would never be involved in a hit and run, and that there are only three people he'd protect at his own expense- Jaya, Kirti and Farhad (explicit acknowledgement that Farhad is family! ) So glad she's not been struck with the ITV-FL-syndrome of stupidity that tends to come with righteous missions. I also love how honest and upfront she's been about what she's up to since day one. She has nothing to hide, so she's hiding nothing. When she found the ring, she asked him. When she got a lead, she told him. When she needed money to investigate further, she didn't hide what she wanted money for. Today, she realized he's bluffing, she went straight to him about it. When asking Amma questions, again, did not cover up her motivation. It's extremely refreshing, and makes it so much easier to relate to her than her doing bad jasusi, trying to be subtle to finagle random clues from people, and stitching them into a dumb narrative.

On Pallavi's trust- I've called her on being too blindly trusting before, but something today sold it to me. I loved that she got those lines- the man who helps anyone he sees roadside who needs it, the man who married a woman he detests for his mom, the man who was willing to go through with Vijay's disgusting condition- it really would be out of character for him to be in a hit and run, with the key word being run. An accident, sure. Leaving the person to die? Absolutely not. And the best part is, though the scene with the young girl was written in precisely for the sake of this confrontation, neither did the scene nor did the dialogues today seem forced, because that's the Raghav Rao we, as audience, have seen since day one.

My heart broke for Raghav today too, in his study scene. I don't think anyone in his life has ever shown such steadfast belief in him. I'm sounding like a broken record now, but I cried then too. I'm sure part of Raghav was indeed happy she called his bluff and he could drop his pretence, at least he knows he's not actually deceiving her, even though he's trying.

His perspective is also very relatable, and he has all my sympathies, being between a rock and a hard place. Obviously, he's not going to let Kirti go to jail so easily, he's going to do whatever he can to protect her. I expect nothing less from him at this point. But Pallavi's 'bohot kahaaniyan ho gayi' did sting- she really does deserve the truth.

Ugh, this is such well written conflict. When I think from Pallavi's perspective, she's 100% justified. When I think from Raghav's, I fully sympathise and relate, and I really can't fault him for what he's doing. Inevitably, these two are both going to end up hurt badly, but I think they'll come out stronger- and with better communication, which they so desperately need!

And of course, today marks the onset of yet another challenge for these two. It seems like progress in their relationship is always associated with challenges of some sorts. They both lost their respective challenges previously, but they're both playing this time. Can't wait to see how it plays out.

I am really glad they aren't dragging it or sending her on a wild goose chase to figure out the pieces over a 3-month period, thank goodness! These sorts of tracks are so OTT on ITV that it's usually at this point that I lose interest in the show. The best is that while there are some tactical things going on with Pallavi and Raghav each making their moves, we are getting to see character development, especially for Pallavi. It's not just with Raghav but her equations with other people too that are on display here and I am glad for it. Mindless detective-giri would bore me to death, frankly.

Sometimes I feel as if these writers keep in mind how most ITV audience members would expect the track to unfold based on the corruption that's happened due to EK shows, and then they go and write a completely different outcome. It's like they know how to lead us up to a point but then ensure things take an unexpected turn when characters actually do what they would in real life and not as in EK land. It really is so refreshing, which is why Pallavi's actions resonate better with the audience these days. It keeps them hooked and also builds trust in the writing.

As for Raghav, he's behaving true to his character. I would expect nothing less from him than what he is doing now. I must say, while his character may or may not grow during this track, it amazes me how they seem to be extracting deeper and dare I say tougher emotions from him as he goes through this latest crisis. We know what his motivations are, we trusted him and believed in his innocence and moral code as Pallavi did, we knew how the conflict between them would come up. Yet, when he emoted and let out his inner thoughts, whether with the alter ego or in his study as his tears drew a line between them both in the frame, we were still extremely affected by it despite not being surprised. I know many of us joke about the role reversal and him doing what ITV FLs do but somehow he's so convincing and so intriguing that I can't look away. I know there's more hell coming for him but at this point I'm not sure if I can handle seeing him get hurt more and more.

Overall, I like they way they are taking turns showing character growth while the other person also adapts to these changes. It makes the track feel much more real but also ensures they don't use up their quota of good plot points too soon and then have no story to tell later.

The other thing that hasn't been explicitly highlighted but is just as important is what happens to Pallavi herself if either Keerti or Raghav go to jail.

She is going to lose Raghav in some form or the other. If Keerti is punished, then I don't know if Raghav would be angry with her for exposing Keerti. I assume not, he'd understand, but he'd hate himself for failing to protect his sister. He may continue to live with Pallavi but if he's unable to save Keerti or cannot do it out of respect for Pallavi's wishes, he will never be able to live with himself. He will never be whole, not because he'd blame her but because he'd be in guilt forever.

On the other hand, if Raghav goes to jail to serves a sentence and Pallavi fails to prove his innocence or cannot out of respect for his wish to protect Keerti, then he will by physically distant from her, which at this stage of their relationship, would leave them in limbo, I guess. He won't be whole either, being away from his family, worry about protecting them from Ved and other enemies, hurting about losing his family all over again. Such a dent in their relationship at precarious time like this can often do more damage than expected. Would she still be able to live with Amma and Keerti after this or would this change the dynamics would them? Would Amma still be on the same page as her knowing she was responsible for exposing the truth? I'm hoping she would but it can't be easy for her. Also, knowing her daughter was responsible for making her now DIL a widow would be tough for her to digest, having experienced the pains of widowhood herself.

Amma is going to lose the most in all this conflict. After a long time she's found a way to move forward, only to have it all snatched away from her in as short time. She's Raghav jaan and seeing her suffer is going to undo Raghav and I can only imagine how Pallavi would feel in all this. Damn this is going to be hard to watch.

I didn't want Mandaar to return but based on the above, it might actually be a good thing. However, that would bring a whole new set of complications in their lives that I don't want to discuss just yet. I'm sure you all know exactly what I have in mind. 😉
