colors zee cater to regional/rural. Those have a loyal fanbase. Also (most) each of their show have a core social theme hence u don't really see numbers fluctuation much. 7 wala have a very "kannada mein jake settle hona nri munda" type theme

True. One of the reasons I can't connect with their shows at all. It's all a lil too much for me.
