My view: you might be skeptical, but if you knew the language and started watching, you would get sucked right in. They have YKB magic without ever doing YKB. The family members are rarely all over each other. And you think ShiVi are good? Sorry, they don't hold a candle to KM, in my opinion. Slow burn drama at it's best.

It is a pretty realistic and logical show- it's pretty surprising for ITV in general and regional tv also, especially in this day and age.

You know why, right? Not a single saas-bahu scene in that and was out and out a love story😃 ofcourse with 3rd wheel, MU’s etc.

A personal anecdote about seeping arrangements. 🤣

Despite having a multistoried house at my in laws place, it was all preoccupied by tenants, and rest every family member had their own bedrooms. Only my patidev and I were odd ones out as my husband had left home for education, and his room was given to tenants as well! So, my new life started from my Jeth-jethani’s room emptied for us for our first SR KAAND 😆

After that, we moved out for job etc outside town, to the big city and have our separate household.

I remember going back every weekend for the first 4 years, and ending up sleeping in the living room while my hubby crept in his parent’s bedroom🤣

We had some terrible funny moments with our pug barking in the middle of the night 😆

But, I think after four years, my in-laws realised that we too need a room 🤣🤣 even if we only visited during occasions or weekends.

Mujhe Gaura ko dekh kar, Mujhe purane din Yaad aa Gaye.🤣

To give you a heads up, old-style cultural homes don't focus on these tiny issues.

yeah, they stared at each other. Their eye locks were famous. They had chemistry even though they never touched each other, but their sexual tension wasn't really explored, just implied 😆
