I could clearly see today that Virat's problem with Ajinkya is less about Ajinkya and more about his own relationship with Sai. Yes, of course, he is so in love and extra jealous of any men who dare come near his baiko š¤£ But his face dropped when Sai said that she tells Ajinkya everything... Virat wants to be Sai's confidante...
And more than anything else, Virat KNOWS that Sai is in love with him. He himself told her that they should look at each other's actions more than their words...

I don't think that he thinks that Sai would ever walk out. If anything, today's episode made even more clear that he knows that there is a disconnect between Sai's actions and her words...she is just unable to get past the vaada
