So after reading Piu’s post, I understood that they are going to show Oli rasam (not holi like I thought🤣)

Is this rasam performed in other regions of North and West or only in Gujarat or is this a Punjabi tradition? 😆We all know how the makers are obsessed with the Punjabi traditions that they try to incorporate all those in this Gujarati setting😆

So, I feel that Shiva has grown up in this relationship faster than Ravi. He has always been the sensible, emotional and vulnerable one! Watching the marriage sequence, too, I realised that his demeanour was not that of anger or irritation.

He felt many emotions for Ravi, which may not be defined as concern or care, but there were thousands of emotions surfacing in his mind. This girl just was on the verge of dying.

And, now their whole world has changed. I think Shiva is more aware of Ravi and what this relationship means to them more than Ravi herself. He may have started liking her now, but deep down, he values the relationship much more than her.

Kuch bahut BADA kaand Hona padega to make him confess.isliyee I feel raavi will be the one who will confess first.

And even then he may not reciprocate and act like he doesn't care or doesn't love her.

We know the extent raavi can go for her love.

Remember the highway truck scene?

Given the obsession of the makers with the Suicide track raavi may pull off such a stunt again.🤷

No please not again ..I have a lot of patience with itv but suicide ie being trivialized too much. At least the wedding one the emotions the trauma of Raavi and trauma in addition disbelief and worry of onlookers was shown well. It was a rejection at the altar in front of the world. The heartbreak, humiliation made her take the step . That was handled delicately but the very next day we have sab thik hojayega and her mental and emotional needs was brushed off. There was not even proper anger towards Dev from the family or Raavi.

And the double suicide the less said the better . I did not like it at all . After getting the bangles they could have shown gautam and dhara berating Shiva and Raavi or Shiva berating Raavi( given how affected he was during the wedding) . There was no aftermath of that suicide and even at the time of the stunt, the worry the desperation was not felt. Like Raavi was brought down from the ledge by Shiva, thank goodness they showed Anita handling her but I don't know it felt less incomplete maybe

This is a common north Indian setting. In North India, in many Hindu homes, there is a special function related to marriage which is known as God bharai. Contrary to the popular belief, it can also be done to women who are getting married into the family or are recently married.

This Oli Bharna represents blessings in the form of dry fruits, coconuts and money so that they are blessed with a fertile womb. It also cherishes their prosperity.

I have no idea about the Gujarati version of this
