Haan yaar.. they could have let her go and focus on some cases... maybe she could have found some secret illegal work going on in the villages and she would fight for their rights or something thus winning the trust of the villagers.

That would be much better plot to follow... waise karke karke she could find out about what happened in the 8 years too.
