I do understand the things overwhelmed her and she was lost in thought but I still found it toxic as I feel it is disrespectful to the current relationship.

She will get over it. She hasn't been married that long and the shock of losing Mandar suddenly never went away because they had no answers. Otherwise, before Raghav came into her life she had been going to the police station everyday to check on the case.

As for being respectful to the current relationship, well people can't just switch emotions on and off. Also, if you're close with your current partner you can easily talk about your past with them. In general, the way they are building their relationship, no topic will be off-limits eventually. Also, every person is different and Pallavi bottles so much up that she can't let go so easily.

Completely agree with this. The fact that she feels at ease to discuss it is a good sign that they are continuously building that open communication pathway between them. It's very important for couples.

And yes, thinking about what if scenarios is completely normal, especially because of the sudden tragic death. We are seeing some things she isn't. From her perspective, she'd been talking to Mandaar for some time, planned a lovely future with him, and had it all snatched away right after getting married. She formed some attachment to him and the D-fam is hers because she married him. On top of that, there were no answers, no closure wrt to how he died. If she weren't curious, I'd actually find that strange.

Yeah, we've never seen him have an issue with her being a widow/having a past. I don't see why he suddenly will. In fact, if he hadn't been involved in Mandaar's death somehow then he would have probably wanted to help her find answers and get some closure (she already thinks he will help her).

Also agree that if he's screwing things up now, he'll have to find a way to fix things so that their relationship works out long term. Loss of her trust, based on which he wanted to change and she wanted to stay with him, is a big deal in a relationship.

@bold, I feel this could be a reason, yes. Maybe they will show us more of this going forward?

Sandip ji said they didn't want to focus too much on this because it creates negativity, and probably because most of the stories involving widows on ITV focus a lot on the suffering and he wanted to deviate from that.
